I love rush. Hemispheres and a farewell to kings are two of my favorite albums. Their newest album was also good.

Fly By Night is a severely underrated album.

I wanna listen to their discography but I'm not in a... RUSH!

Is Rush the only band without a bad album?

...

I really like them too, but they definitely have some really underwhelming albums

Yep. Everything from Fly By Night to Moving Pictures is gold.

Controversial opinion: Their post-millenium works are their best since Moving Pictures. I think they're one of the few dinosaur bands that ever produced good music after the 90s

I didn't care for Clockwork Angels all that much but Snakes and Arrows sounds fantastic 10 years on.

this

>RLiSH

But Signals was good album though. Shit cover art though.

Their older stuff? Definitely.

They're alright

I agree. Vapor Trails Remixed is a solid 8-9/10 for me. Only 1 song I don't like on it. But I also have a soft spot for the 80's cheese. I'd say the 80's and 000's are tied.

Not particularly, but I've never understood all the negativity they get.

yes

whiny vocal, 2deep4you lyrics, muh playing bass AND keyboards.

None of these are good criticisms.

no idea how that doubleposted, guess I didn't realize I wrote already

Yeah, they've never really had a BAD album, but most of their 90s work is pretty underwhelming imo.
Counterparts is decent though.

I felt that everything after Signals was pretty mediocre. Almost everything before that was god-tier though.

Also, Necromancer is best song.

>Necromancer is best song
Hell ya

The whole album is underrated

>Hold Your Fire
>Presto
>Roll the Bones
>Test for Echo
>Vapour Trails

he understated the whiny vocals part in his post. Lee's vocals actually verge on ridiculous sometimes. I like alot of their songs but I can see how mainstream rock listeners would get fatigued by his voice. Brian Johnson type thing

Their 70's stuff is the best (like with almost every group from that era) Also, Permanent Waves is way overrated

I think I like almost everything by them.
When I was way young and too much of a metaldork, I was only into Fly by Night and 2112.
But I came to like everything in the end.

Do you mean because of The Spirit of Radio?
I mean, I find Entre Nous maybe just a little not quite as there as the rest, but it works as a bridge I guess. I think the album is super solid though.

It is a good album. But i always see it listed second best to Moving Pictures (that i can agree) I just dont think it's that good, not better than Hemispheres, at least.
