go take your meds, making electronic music requires no talent
All you have to do is load a sound and tap a button with your fingertips, it requires no skill at all
Infact, it requires no skill at all that a degenerate on Xanax, Adderal and Marijuana can make electronic music while sedated
It is that easy
Hey math rock is good stop

The only people I know who are into harsh noise are myself (major depression + anxiety), my best friend (schizophrenic), and my ex gf (aspergers)
Probably not a coincidence.

You're all attention whores.
Feel bad.

I've had over a decade of major depressive issues and I mainly listen to rap music.
I think most of the people who go out of their way to listen to "depressing" music that is meant to mirror their inner mood like the romantic notion of the whole thing more than they are willing to admit to themselves so they go out of their way to aesthetically affect it.
same here buddy, im the same way (chronic depression and anxiety)
realest post on the whole board
I listen to depressing and dark music because I like the aesthetic rather than the fact that i'm really sad. So i guess that's kinda true.
though by depressing music I mean dark ambient, black metal, lo-fi drone, avant-garde jazz, and atonal classical, so idk if that's what you're going after.
I listen to a lot of dsbm and i agree. I used to suffer from depression and i highly doubt i couldve listen to any of this back then. Now though i find it comforting and a bit of an escape from my normie life.
Yo man same actually
