Producer in a small town

>Producer in a small town
>Produced countless albums for random bands
>Always replace live drum takes with samples in the final mix
>None of my clients ever notice

Does anyone else do this?

yes

nice

did that with a grind band
>drummer wants organic sound
>127 on everything
>he loved it
mfw

>I can't mix drums, so let me replace it with drum samples

You lazy fuck.

I do that to my own demos.

Fuck playing a whole song, just nail the right parts.

nigga that's awful. You should feel bad.

lol u still have to mix samples
r u dumb?

but its not as awful as all the drummers that come in

ohh nooo sample based drums i hope you never try making EDM

anyone know any good drum sample packs?

depends what ur trying to make

hip hop mostly, but other random shit too

if you're looking for an organic boom bap sound samplephonics boom bap beats and bits is my favorite
any boom bap pack by producers choice
also pete rocks sample pack

if you're looking for trap drums i can't really help you

...

...

Boop doop a bloom bop a bap beats

Wouldn't trap pretty much be the 808's?

what is the difference between 'drum loops' and 'drum loops tube'?

Christ this makes me glad I produce my own shit so cretins like you don't fuck with it

That being said I pretty much exclusively use drum samples over live drums

drum loops tube just means it has tube distortion on it
i really don't use those ever

i mean technically yes but most modern trap producers don't use traditional 808s anymore at least not for the hats and snares

That's fucked up.

That doesn't make you good, it makes those band members and especially the fucking drummer dull and inexperienced. You're essentially taking advantage of their stupidity.

Samples sound better
Ya because i charge time on drum recording to lol

Granted, that's genius, but you're an asshole
