Is this one of those ironic threads where we say the opposite of what we mean?

>literally starts with a pop rock band

Nice job OP

>album debuted right behind beyonce and drake
>still sells out stadiums everywhere
>aren't that popular outside of Sup Forums.

>saying radiohead isn't popular in the mainstream

Faggot alert. Summer for the 7th graders I guess.

Fair point OP, clearly nobody listens to them aside from this one board with like 50,000 (max) users

What? Just look at how well AMSP did. That said, I've yet to find another radiohead fan in real life.

What? Literally everyone I know has heard of Radiohead. Sure, not many listen outside of stuff like Creep but everyone knowing their name isn't "not that popular"

I can't think of anyone under the age of 20 that listens to Radiohead or even listens to them. Same as Weezer and the Strokes.

That's probably because you are a NEET who doesn't have any IRL friends.

>that listens to or even listens to

...

...

Also they hit #1 in the UK above Drake, Beyonce and Skepta

No, now kill yourself.

I can't tell if this is bait or you're a moron

Katy Perry and Avril Lavigne have both name dropped Radiohead in their songs, pretty sure that made their career

>2 mil views
>not popular outside of mu

(satan trips)
What the fuck is anyone even talking about. Radiohead is so well known. Johnny Greenwood just did the soundtracks to two major motion pictures.

>that listens to Radiohead or even listens to them

Radiohead more like Radickhead Shaking my head Tbh pham

radiohead is normie music tf you talking about

Artists that Radiohead have more monthly listens to right now on Spotify

>Arcade Fire
>Weezer
>Arctic Monkeys
>Nas
>Bjork
>David Bowie
>Muse
>Nirvana
>Miles Davis
>Queens of the Stone Age
>Pearl Jam
>The White Stripes
>System of a Down
>Only popular on the internet

lol

delete this

>album debuted right behind beyonce and drake

And it dropped like a rock right after. Drake and Beyonce are still sitting in the top 3 while AMSP is like down in the 80's. Extremely front loaded sales because of a dedicated fanbase.

Radiohead is entry level as fuck

>spotify
>the internet
pick both

so is your favorite band

>he doesn't get out much

>holds #1 and #5 spots on most highly rated albums of allm time on RYM
>top artist on last.fm
>About 33,100,000 results on google
>newest album hit #1 in US Top Alternative Albums
>#1 in US Top Rock Albums
>#1 in UK, Swiss, Scottish, Norwegian, and Irish Albums
>#2 in Australian, canadian and Belgian Albums
>#3 on Swedish, Finnish, Dutch Albums and on the fucking US Billboard 200
>Youtube videos average on the 30 million view mark while Burn the Witch has 17 million

>aren't that popular outside of Sup Forums.

You're a fucking retard OP.

>he literally thinks this
>implying people discover Radiohead from Sup Forums
wew fucking lad

2/10 b8 for making me reply

>*no matter what you say*
Explain this

this is you right here user

>that listens to or even listens to

>Weezer
>Strokes
>Radiohead
>not pop/rock bands

>I can't think of anyone under the age of 20 that listens [...] the Strokes.
They're on par with Arctic Monkeys to post-punk/garage rock revival that is overplayed on underage parties.

Why is that cat's mashing the keyboard with its nipples

this

Literally proto-reddit. No one has seen this yet

don't knock it til you try it

I can't wait for them to get fucked up and off.

their tour sold out within like 30 seconds how are they not popular? A better example is like AnCo or something where only that band's fanbase gives a shit about them as opposed to someone like Kanye where not everyone might like him but at least they know who he is

>AnCo
>Not popular outside of mu

Animal collective is a thousand times more popular than Sup Forums

What does that even mean

>more popular than Sup Forums

he was asking if it's popular outside of Sup Forums, not more popular than Sup Forums. most bands are more popular than Sup Forums, shit most PEOPLE are more popular than this board

>not even one of the top 125 most popular artists.

Arcade Fire. I know this seems wrong, but they exist in a very strange sector of music. They chart number one albums, and are seen as one of the pillars of their genre, but are mostly neglected by entry-level indie/alternative fans, because although they make melodic accesible music, all the songs are long, dramatic/sad, and lack hook-y lines. Meanwhile, serious music fans either see them as normie-core, or respect their work, but dont really go back to it often, which stops them from gaining an animal collective-like popularity.

I once heard Radiohead mentioned on The Big Bang Theory, in the context of something any normie should recognize.

Neutral Milk Hotel, not memeing

Sup Forums cant even name 125 artists

oh shit did I just get owned on Sup Forums the org

They mentioned Radiohead in a Hannah Montana episode even, if that doesn't invalidate OP's post I don't know what does

Radiohead is mentioned in an Avril Lavigne song too

where were you when radiohead died?

>it's a "OP only listens to Sup Forumscore and thinks his taste is obscure and unique" episode

Car Seat Headrest. TF has 110k views and it gets tossed around all the time on here. No one else has answered the thread question, so I will assume no one else has anything to contribute.

wat

are you announcing the thread over? there are other answers here

the fuck you on about

yes, now live your life to the fullest

I love that video

I think a lot one people know of radiohead but not many listen anything beyond creep and there other popular songs

Talk to any emo teenager and they love 21 faggots
