There's plenty of good metal. It's all either very inaccessible (the extreme stuff) or literally pop music with distortion (power metal etc). The shit stuff is the tryhard edgy stuff, the buttrock, the trve kvlt black metal made by neckbeards, and the endless sea of good cop/bad cop vocals.
