Track starts with band member saying "Here We Go!"
🤔

>you can faintly hear people talking of the recording

Or on second thought, maybe Google Keyboard autocorrect knew what it was doing
2 drummers
>*lead singer clears throat*
...
>Song starts with the tonic chord.
>"I TOOK A TRIP DOWN TO... NEW MEXICO, WITH MY FATHER AND BROTHER...
>ANSEL"
>Song starts with clicking drumsticks
>song begins
>female singer does vocal run ending in "yeah"
>album opens with a B-Side
>song has a 15 minute bass solo
>main melody consists of oral popping and clicking sounds
>song doesn't have a bass drum or a snare so the drummer just wings it and does it with his mouth
>song opens with argument between band members
>quiet sobbing from what we can only assume is the bassist is heard for the duration of the track
>band has 2 bands
>song starts with bong rip and coughing
>song is longer than 5 minutes
>band members snapping
>song is shorter than 20 minutes
> Song has guitar solo that's just the chorus of the song an octave up
>song
>every song is untitled
>sounds of someone being beaten in the background
>vocalist shouts "guitar!!!" or "give it to em (guitarist's name)" right before guitar solo
>band member dies partway through song
'sky' is rhymed with 'high' or 'fly'
>every song is unmastered
...
>every song is mastered by the singer
Who
>band has two drummers
>"second verse, same as the first!"
IT'S THE ZANY COMBINATION OF WAYNE'S PET YOUNGIN'
youtu.be
>song has two choruses
>the singer
>police scanner noises
>Guest solo doesn't jive with the rest of the music
Looking at you Melechesh
>entire album is reversed
>"avant garde"
>just a buzzword coverup for shit music
>album is recorded and produced in a studio
nirvana?
>track starts
is this a real thing?
You talking about palindrome albums, like lazer/wulf's full-length?
>"lo-fi"
>just a buzzword coverup for shit music
Avey Tare's album cant remember the name is a good example of that bullshit
I was thinking of Pullhair Rubeye
...
>lo-fi
>actually just recorded on a laptop microphone
yeah, I was thinking of pullhair rubeye
example of this
I'm guilty of this
the music isn't necessarily shit it's just recorded using outdated/cheap methods for the sake of aesthetics... which isn't nearly as bad (but generally still bad)
>track starts with artist telling someone to shut up and turn the "thing" on
>Third verse, different from the first
lee majors come again by the beastie boys
I don't mind this desu
The problem is there's too much bad lo-fi music that tries to get by on aesthetic only. I mean, there's so much terrible bandcamp lo-fi bedroom-pop out there that's supposed to be "raw" and "feelsy." But in actuality, it's just terrible, immature music made by some high school kid who thinks he's deep.
>Song starts with angry man yelling "KILL THE WORLD BANK NOW"
I was thinking of Once I Was by Tim Buckley, but that works too
I have a USB Mic that I got with Rockband (the video game) that I use.
>song begins with an angry Andrew Jackson yelling "KILL THE NATIONAL BANK NOW"
I us a shitty usb mic too, but I don't label my stuff lo-fi
youtube.com
It's a good song though
it's still lo-fi whether you label it or not.
>song is 3 minutes of someone getting raped
>album is two and a half hours of someone being raped
quick Sup Forums what's the most accessible Swans record
glowing man followed by TBK and the seer (equal)
Is Glowing Man any good
>song begins with the sound of the drummer shoving his sticks up his ass
Fucking THIS
I want to hear this.
>first repetition of the chorus of the song is just the first chorus sung by a different band member
I enjoyed it so much that I did this immediately after finishing it
It's a 10/10 so far, but definitely not the most accessible, he was probably joking. Give some of their no wave stuff a try first, like Children of God.
🤔
Hey Devin, can we be friends on Reddit?
What's your favorite song so far? Mine is either When Will I Return solely because of that godly second half, or The Glowing Man because its a fucking epic
Trusting you user, don't let me down
...
Sure man :)

I've only gotten through People Like Us so far. Most people seem to be saying Cloud of Unkowing is the best, and I agree. Cloud of Forgetting is a close second.
Frankie M is terrific, get hyped for it
they count to 200 in this song youtube.com
>song has 3 different guitar tracks, all by one guitarist
I hate when bands rely on things they can't replicate live
I do this, though I could probably replicate it live. It's just that sometimes I write a song while I record it
ariel pink
>his band plays live shows
but this is the best. i like songs by solo artists that build up from one rhythm/melody using a looper.
>mom found the cum socks
>lead singer also sings the harmonies
