What does Sup Forums think of the beginners guide to Radiohead made by Reddit?

who even cares about radiohead?

>what do patricians think of the plebeian's guide to overrated pleb shit made by plebeians
It's shit.

desu I wouldn't recommend anyone listen to the bends ever, I fucking hate it

Is Amnesiac the greatest jazz album of the 2000s?

>patricians
fucking kek

The people who have been here for a few years and aren't just reddit immigrants are, yes.

"more indie rock" literally what

The best radiohead flowchart I've seen at least

>Sup Forums
>patricians

See

ok buddy whatever helps you sleep at night

>losers who unironically listen to the same unpleasant shit I listen to so they can feel superior to mainstream music listeners are "patrician", smarter, more cultured and better than regular people
>im superior to radio listening chads getting pussy and partying all the time because I listen to drone and death grips alone in my mom's basement

This is why everyone laughs at you Sup Forums

>Sup Forums
>patrician

Hi ledditor!

It's actually pretty good except for

>starting with In Rainbows then hearing The Bends then finally Hail To The Thief (their only objectively bad album)

You'd think they got worse

You're the one posting Reddit infographics faggot

>he can't even follow basic post threads on Sup Forums
The fact you think I'm OP is a testament to how new you are.

I've been here since the heyday of mediafire share threads all day erry day in 08 you obvious ledditor. You posted the graph then a pretentious post flaming it to get replies.

Your tricks are old and retarded.

The positions of HTTT and TKOL should be switched and there should be a line between Amnesiac and TKOL.

It's shit.

>Hail To The Thief (their only objectively bad album)
Terrible opinion.

>patricians are just oldfags
Not how it works at all.

i think redditors should fuck off and not drag their shit here.

>Radiohead
>Jazzy

That's terrible

Here's my oc chart

I've never listened to Radiohead and thought "jazz". I can't even think of a single song of their that could be described as jazzy.

>mfw

Oh is this the essential b-sides?

But that's just their fourth best album user

They have some songs that are influenced by jazz. See: national Anthem, We Suck Young Blood, etc

amnesiac is so overrated
everyone says it's the underrated album of their catalog of work, no way. it's their worst abum that is still good (i.e., is not TKOL or pablo honey).

People who enjoy great music

I get that there's a lot of good natured contrarianism here but if you can't appreciate Radiohead because they got huge in spite of being great you're doing yourself a disservice

National anthem is pure rock influenced to me

We suck young blood sounds southern gospel

You're saying TKOL is bad?

OK but both were directly influenced by Charles Mingus.

yes
TKOL was shit

Lotus flower, separator, give up the ghost and morning Mr magpie are fantastic songs

Listen again

I think that they probably don't know what orchestral means.

>TKOL was shit
Don't you mean...
>I pretend to like Radiohead to make myself look cool

There are orchestral instruments on nearly every song on that album, in contrast to the rest of their discography.

*chamber

>reddit
>radiohead

sounds about right

i have listened to the album many times, i can't force myself to like it.

don't you mean
>i suck cock for a living

TKOL is a grower for sure. I used to hate it but I now prefer it to most of their discography.

In November 2015, composer Robert Ziegler, who worked with Radiohead on The King of Limbs, tweeted photos of the band recording with a string orchestra.[11] The strings were arranged by Greenwood and performed by the London Contemporary Orchestra, who had previously worked with Greenwood on the score for The Master,[4][12] and recorded at RAK Studios in London.[13] Additional string and choir parts were recorded but cut from the album.[14] Cellist Oliver Coates said: "Nigel, Jonny and Thom all have this awesome relationship, and were so animated during the recording. I remember we were laying down the cello part at the end of 'Daydreaming' and Thom said, 'That’s it – that is the sound of the record.'"[14] He credited the "intensity" of the orchestra's performance to Radiohead's influence on the musicians as teenagers, saying: "When our brains were forming and we looked for a definition of what intensity was they were one of the groups who gave it to us. I mean, when I was 15 and going to see Radiohead play live, I was sponging off their sound."[14] Drummer Clive Deamer, who performed with Radiohead on the King of Limbs tour[15] and appeared on their 2011 singles "The Daily Mail" and "Staircase",[16] played additional drums on "Ful Stop".[13]

>implying there is something wrong with death gripps

It's not too bad, though under this logic there should probably be a line directly from Kid A to Thief rather than from AMSP to Thief.

And they're not saying Amnesiac is jazzy, they're implying the music's a bit shiftier.

Here's a non-cringe Radiohead flowchart
You're welcome.

>Where's Creep?
Kek
Also, I would recommend anyone start with OKC. It's just as accessible as the Bends with a little of that electronic stuff thrown in. Personally I'd be disappointed if I had heard Kid A or IR before OKC, them being such a step up in creativity.

lmao

>Japanese
Opinion discarded!

>jazzy drumming, brass instruments, no guitars

What kind of rock is this?

>no guitars
What song are you talking about?

The one without guitar dumbass

Both have guitars you tard

>life in a glass house

You got serious ear problems if you hear a guitar in National Anthem

>what is a bass guitar

>jazz bands don't have a bass player
wew lad

...

>WHY WONT RADIOHEAD STOP SELF PROMOTING ON Sup Forums?
REEEEEEEEEEEEE

It's first of all a fucking bass moron. You know since the beginning that I was talking about electric guitars, six strings.

You still didn't answer my question:

how the fuck would anyone need help to get into a fuckin pop rock band?

wow lad

>more rock
>more rhythmic
fucking autists, I thought that reddit hate was just a meme

drumming on Pyramid Song is very jazz/swing

If this was made here everyone would be all over this shit, it's much better than any radiohead flow chart I've seen posted on here. The whole le site warZ xDdddddd shit really is annoying.

radiohead isn't even hard to get into in the first place

>literally a free jazz section
What are you smoking

haha fuck off

>Kid A
>2001
Good one leddit
