Power metal is just Disturbed for nerds

GET OF YOUR ASS

This album is pretty good
not a lot of good BM these days

Best Crowbar albums?

rockfeed.net/2016/06/10/phil-anselmo-just-subscribed-pro-white-youtube-channel/

Self Titled, Odd Fellows Rest, Sonic Excess In Its Purest Form, Time Heals Nothing and even the last one is pretty good.

so how about that nu metal revival, huh?

That title is a total Revenge ripoff. Just replace the spaces with periods.

And yes, Revenge should have monopoly on 3 noun album titles

My man

Always remember anti-racist is a codeword for anti-white. Don't let the jewish menace cause the white genocide. Fight on Phil.

They're just looking for things to be mad at, aren't they?

>anti racist is a codeword for anti-white
>this is what fascists actually believe
I'll take pleasure in killing you ;^)

looks like it's gonna be derivative garbage derivative of garbage

they pretty much started making and releasing music at the same time too

hey man why you gotta be so morose and lugubrious

But their other album titles don't follow that pattern so that's not really relevant

They have an interesting sound
for some reasons remind me of this
youtube.com/watch?v=cKjrSjlFJgI

Post Military Metal

>Phillipe Anselmo still can't come to terms with his Hispanic heritage
Sad

youtube.com/watch?v=9FkYxnm70vg

I really like their sounds, it's neither the shit that plagues BM now or in the 2000s but it isn't just dumbed down 2nd wave worship either

More like a riffy style of BM taking secondary influences from both raw and depressing black metal

thanks for the rec too user, that album sounds purple, i'll check it out

oh shit that's right, didn't notice

What does /metal/ think of Craddle of Filth?

Anyway what have you been listening to recently ?

Early stuff up to midian is good, latest is pretty good too.

What's that album with the swastika and the eagle on the cover?

after listened to so much hip hop, i'm just listening to the grind classics again

Pig Destroyer, Terrorizer, Napalm Death, Repulsion, Discordance Axis and Gridlink (modern classics desu)

it's Fanisk

>fanisk
I kept thinking something like Fausk for some reason. Thanks trip.

terrible is what it is lmao

,
Subsolar non-Aryan detected

Quick reminder that

youtube.com/watch?v=QpLbkxEL5bs

You should try this album if you like interesting grind
i've posted it a couple of times in the past, maybe you already know it
it's like some non-fedora jazzy grind
youtube.com/watch?v=L57p3YFKWto

What is /metal/ listening to right now?

not even him but are you kidding me? Do you have to like even the blandest atmoblack just because it's NS? Fanisk isn't very good music

12 hours of brown noise

If anything I like it despite the fact that it's NS. I don't like nsbm or atmospheric bm in general.

>are you kidding me?

Wreck and Reference - Want

This is pretty gud desu

> Epic Caverncore Mix/Compilation #4 | 12+ Hours

most jazz grind isn't fedora desu
Planetarisk Sudoku by PSUDOKU is probably the best example of the genre, it has a lot of the groove of funky jazz fusion but it still is straight up grind

youtube.com/watch?v=yI8Ci1xX5IQ

and yes, Virulence is pretty awesome, some of the best prog grind around

Yes this band is p cool i've heard their stuff in the past
just wondering, what's your AOTYSF ?

>they're attacking us for our youtube subscriptions now
Day of the rope when?

literal meme album

Setherial- nord

Nothing yet but seeing a bunch of white-guilt twinks makes me want to listen to NSBM. Not sure what to start with.

i want Sup Forums to leave, also before the cuckposting starts i'd like to add that i'm not a leftist

Cemetery Urn - The Conquered are Burned

Pretty basic crushing, Incantation-inspired death metal, but enjoyable anyways.

no clue, maybe new Wormed
still hoping the new AP album drops this year though

not well known enough to be a meme, even here

Either you agree with me or your a leftist, kid. You can't take your shit and eat it too.

Is Neurosis & Jarboe good?

>that dude
HEY LITTLE GIRL
CAN I TELL YOU A SECRET

Im new to Sup Forums. If you say metal, do you talk about good stuff, like stuff you probably dont know, or are you a bunch of weebs, listening to shit like alestorm, amon amarth or arch enemy?

i don't know, give them a listen you're only going to get meme replies here

Low quality bait. Mgla pic took it over the edge. Try again tomorrow.

what is the Rubycon of metal

this is bait

nice maym

Can you repeat the question ?

God dammit

Pathologist, Yacopsae, Blood and Last Days of Humanity are must listens for grind/PV.

Its nice to see Pathologist getting some love

Galloping Through The Battle Ruins by Arghoslent

>bands/albums only you listen to
What are they, /metal/? Pic related is mine.
>based ambient spaced-out doomy/mid-paced black/death metal

>Im new to Sup Forums. If you say metal, do you talk about good stuff,
no
leave while you still can

i listened to all of those, in fact i listened to Putrefaction In Progress this morning

Tanz, Grosny, Tanz... is probably my favorite powerviolence album, good call my man

not really fond of Pathologist, not a fan of goregrind in general except of LDoH

there's this bulgarian band that was industrial hip hop at the start and then shifted to industrial groove metal and i'm pretty sure no one else ever listened to them

>"classics"
>lists Discordance Axis but not Nasum
howhowhowhowhwhwohw

who is that guy? He's mad cute

Nice.
I pretty much stick with this:
deathmetal.org/metal/grindcore/

Thought so, when i saw the behemoth shit.

See you along, suckers.

>not a fan of goregrind in general except of LDoH
plen
Though I do have a hard time finding decent goregrind on BC that isn't straight noise

D E P R E S S O R

>Industrial metal in the vein of Godflesh with a lot of crust punk flare. Sometimes even slipping into death or sludge metal.

youtube.com/watch?v=uvdOp5E8aCg

man i never liked Nasum, really, it always just sounded like only one step up from standard hardcore punk which i don't like very much

Dude, if you want good goregrind you just gotta look for that old shit

if you want good BC goregrind, check out 30XX, they're a cybergoregrind band with quite a lot of experimentation and variation in their discography (plus every release is like 8 to 10 minutes)

Cóndor - Duin

Death/doom with a folky classical feel to it, from Colombia.

Is crust punk considered metal?

Rotten Roll Rex has a solid roster. That new Pulmonary Fibrosis album is pretty sick.

rottenrollrex.bandcamp.com/

Not metal but Queens of the Stone Age- Rated R

Does anyone even remember Dan Dankmeyer?

I'm pretty sure that Meow tripfag was the only person in /metal/ who liked A Pregnant Light
youtube.com/watch?v=H7Er7WgL0NM

no but it's obviously related

kinda. Many crust punk bands have a lot of metal in them too - Disfear, Skitsystem, Driller Killer, Martyrdod, Wolfbrigade...

it's certainly related

sounds like rather generic blackgaze to me

No. It's considered Crust.

Yes

No, but plenty of crustfags have been making shit hipster metal for years now.

No, but it did have a hand in shaping early extreme metal

I have a couple of albums with his name on it, including one APL CD

it’s not bad but it isn’t excellent

posting best CSR abum

>but it did have a hand in shaping early extreme metal
lol no it didn't. You're thinking of hardcore punk like Discharge. Crust punk was influenced by metal, not the other way around.

Well, that song wasn't exactly the best example but theres not a lot on youtube. The style also varies quite a bit, this song (and the whole album) is basicallly post hardcore with some bm in there:
colloquialsoundrecordings.bandcamp.com/track/fresh-flower-offering-purple-night
while this is more like the Smiths gone bm
colloquialsoundrecordings.bandcamp.com/album/domination-harmony
and this is a weird almost corsetcore Madonna cover
colloquialsoundrecordings.bandcamp.com/track/live-to-tell

My negga

Not sure if I'd call it the best but it's definitely up there.

Rec me some grindcore to listen to

Last Days of Humanity

Blood
Repulsion
Carcass (first album only)

second album is pretty grind too though

dumping chart

hellokittysuicideclub.bandcamp.com/

>Paris Hilton Jihad

mehehe

it's pretty impressive how bad this album is
specially considering that it could have been something good, instead it just borders on ear rape

That's bandgrind for you
