>No new girl talk album in 6 years
fuck
No new girl talk album in 6 years
Copyright bullshit finally got to be too much probably.
He's gonna get sued into oblivion if he even tries releasing something dude
Either way All Day was his best album.
>that Jane's Addiction/Teach Me How to Dougie mash-up
nah Feed the Animals
Play Your Part (pt 2)
this FTA was his masterpiece.
>no taysway or carly rae jizzpig over classic rock or trap beats
please
gregg is actually a cool guy also
Didn't he do the collab album with Freeway though
But user, that wasn't good
Night Ripper is his best album, but Feed the Animals has "Pt 1", "Still Here" and "Set it Off". It's hard to decide. All Day wasn't as fun for some reason. I liked the Spacehog / Lean Back one a lot.
Why would he be sued? Wouldn't it just be considered sampling?
he gives his albums out for free and accepts donations to keep going, so it's a grey area. Soul Mates did the same thing and they got a Cease and Desist, so Greg might be lying low for a while -_-
Red Flag is better than this guy but I bet none of you have heard of him. But I bet you've heard the Party and Bullshit in the USA mashup.
surely there's a number of artists doing something quite like him, right? mashup should be a thriving artform when everyone has access to the software for free, right?
no one is as good at it as him.
But how is that any different from just the average guy on youtube or soundcloud making mixes? Both are free to the public and open for donations, its not like you can sue every single one of them.
Speaky
Ludachrist
SuperMashBros
Billions of people on Soundcloud
yeah there are lots
I didn't say that I agreed with it.
You could rec some stuff instead of being an insufferable faggot.
This is still the greatest mash-up album ever made.
youtube.com
figured. he's the only one i ever see talked about here
Youre right I could.
This is my favorite.
youtube.com
The aforementioned Party and Bullshit in the USA
youtube.com
I also like these
Something Like This is a banger.
Thanks dude
Lawyers aren't cheap. Someone like Madonna has the resources to fight off copyright claims like the recent Vogue claim on a 1/2 second long horn sample.
It's a litigious culture. it's like how these days on YT any and all "React" videos get flagged by numerous third parties. Most claims are bullshit but while YT reviews the case all ad profits get redirected and it's a bitch to reclaim. The point isn't to win. It's too intimidate. In the case of Girl Talk, it's worked.
Maybe he just doesn't want to do it anymore.
Yeah that's a good one. The Biggie part is awesome.
He uses the same songs as Girl Talk does, unoriginal knockoff
This is great but not really girl talk tier imo
Actually Girl Talk tier: E-603
