It's A Love Thing

Either this, Waiting for the Day, or I Just Wasn't Made for These Times

I'm Waiting for the Day

Dang it Dale, why are these goats here?

you spelled "I'm Waiting for the Day" wrong

Don't Talk

...

I just woke up from a dream where a bunch of people started singing Caroline No

It is the best

Kek

They're all pretty much god tier except for Sloop John B and the title track.

God Only Knows or Sloop John B

Pet sounds is a great song. Sloop John B does stick out though, I agree.

Let's go away for a while and I'm waiting for the day are the best. Maybe I know there's an answer as well as Here today too. LGAFAW is definitely the best though. I'd kill to hear what Brian's intended vocal part would've been over that song.

What does everyone have against Sloop John B

It matches the theme of the album, really happy sounds with sad undertone

plus its great for singing along to like the entire album

Listening to it right now again, probably gonna say That's Not Me even though it's very close with like 4-5 tracks for me.

It's not a bad tune. It just lacks the complexity the rest of the album had been built on up to prior to it. It's pretty clear it's not from the Pet Sounds sessions and so it sticks out a little. The vocal harmonies are pretty standard and uninteresting in comparison, and the instrumental is a little samey and static, whereas other songs are very intricate and ever changing.

That's my opinion anyway.

I
Guess
I
Just
Wasn't Made
For These
Tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiimes

>you got to keep in mind
>love is here
>today and it's gone
>tomorrow it's here
>and gone so fast

It's called "Fortunate Son" you dipshit

I guess I just don't like it when shit is intricate and ever-changing as much as I like it when it's static. Sloop John B is hands-down my favorite on the album.

Why? It's catchy. It sounds beautiful. The lyrics resonate.

I want an album of nothing but Sloop John Bs
(sloop john b-sides)

This/Hang on to your Ego

Nothing wrong with that I guess.

Kek

pet sounds wouldnt be the same without sloop john b

too 'tryhard feeeeels' to cut it from the album

Wouldn't It Be Nice*

It's actually [every track on the entire album]

literally the worst song on it
