Also Frances.

Jon Theodore is a fucking beast. Can't wait to hear him on the next QOTSA album.
Seconded
Probably my favorite drumming ever, particularly the end of Roulette Dares and the interlude in Drunkship of Lanterns. His drumming on amputechture is also flawless, Tetragrammaton especially.
Pic related has the best drumming I've heard in metal
...

In terms of drumming, Noctourniquet is my favorite TMV album. DeAntoni is such a good drummer, I love all the stuff he did with Omar.
came here to post Lightning Bolt. Thank you.
Pretty much.
between this and his work on the work on the stern show, richard christy is my favorite drummer and one of my favorite people period.
ignore my typo autism
Seriously though. It's actually in a completely other league from the rest of the band. No wonder he went on to play in The Human Abstract.
Might as well post every single Arctic Monkeys album
Matt Helders is the greatest

No wonder sonny moore became skrillex
absolute snorefest

Rodox - Estreito
poseurs will deny
People always point this out to undermine maynard and be a contrarian. Not in the context of this thread though, just in general.
Pete's drumming is some of the most energetic I've ever seen.

HEALTH has amazing drumming, but Death Magic is probably the worst example. The drumming got more tame with every new release. S/t was fucking crazy, Get Color was more streamlined, in a good way.
I don't disagree but you are an asshole for preemptively insulting people having a different opinion.
HEALTH became tame in general with Death Magic. That's probably why I see that album getting so much shit on Sup Forums
That's true. It's still an incredibly fun album in my opinion. It took a while to get into it, and I would've preferred another Get Color-like album, but I definitely ended up enjoying it.
I feel like it's very hard to play this out of rhythm so consistently
Second this, they really hold the album together.
Karnivool - Asymmetry
and also Sound Awake
Drummer here, can confirm
Golden Age woodkid
>least interesting percs except for SAW
Try Druqks or Richard D James
I mean after FWN drums stopped playing such a large role, though in every album since they have give him a song just go mental with (R U Mine, Pretty Visitors)
>tfw song for the dead intro plays
the roll to son of nothing is my shit
jazz fusion has never seen better drums than on that song
