OP Here
The singing in the chorus isn't my favorite, but the verses were really good.
On The Brink Of Thinking is really great. The guitar is some of the best shit I've heard on SC.

i posted this yesterday, but i'm a giant whore, so i'm posting it one more time. if you enjoy bad music, check me out.
Doesn't make it less true though. Also, take into consideration some of us critique on soundcloud and not here, and vice versa
I feel ya, man. I've been doing the same like every day this past week, and the turnout hasn't been as great as expected, but it really isn't that big of a deal. Impressing people in person is a whole lot more fun anyway.
yeah, i'm not doing it for the return, some of these people only have like 4 listens and 10 followers and could really use the support, i'm just trying to help some brothers out
Make complete songs, rather than vignettes, and it'll be easier to five feedback

thanks man. and i sure don't. wish i knew some musicians. i'm very much a shut-in.
liking the vocals quite a bit here. good shit.
wonderful, smooth production. dope as hell. i have just started learning about synthesizers and producing and i hope i can be half as skilled someday.
sick as always. love your style.
excellent guitar playing. very jealous. sound is quiet but so vibrant.

Sampled some Mura Masa Vocals on this track, i'll return all feedback and drop comments on tracks I feel like i have something worth saying on.

So I'm just some chubby little white dude, but I have always loved rap and hip-hop. I can't get enough of it.
My favorite rappers are people like MF Doom and Antipop Consortium. I love that seemingly nonsensical sound that they all have.
I've been slowly teaching myself to rap and I have a ton of fun with it.
Some of you guys have been really nice to me and given me constructive criticism that isn't the typical "Kill yourself" and I appreciate that.
I've been working on my flow and my dynamics so that I'm not as monotone.
I write my own shitty beats with an Electribe Sampler and I record on a Tascam Portastudio. I like to be able to play around out of a backpack.
Anyway, here's my song and if you like it, that's okay. If you don't, that's okay too.

My older stuff is really silly and geeky, but I had to start somewhere, ya know?

Has a portishead vibe to it, especially the second track. Great work but don't forget to be innovative you know?
if you don't know your genre just call it "experimental", the first one reminds me of arca, not sure how to feel about it but it wasn't bad
Love this, how do you make it sound like this?
Reminds me of Aphex Twin, but not boring at all actually. Great job!
i was scared of it being boring like other vaportrap stuff but this is actually really good
i LOVED ''oh well''! Great beats and atmosphere
it feels so much like some old Detroit house music. I really like it keep up the good work.

good thats my aim. its not experimental either, i already know what i want when i make a track

Hey everyone,
I'm Chubs, I've always had success make friends and cool collaborative efforts in these threads. Take a listen if you have a chance, I'm happy to reciprocate any feed back on SC.
Best,
Chubs
about arca? i liked it because i feel it's "non-linear"
No need for the false modesty. That's pretty good.
Just overall song structure feels like it needs more variation, especially in the late-mid where it start to dip. Either excitement or prolong ballad.
>CrassMan
this is actually a great megaman song
Thanks, that was the goal. It was for some one-hour compo at battleofthebits dot org.
Everyone there's much more experienced with trackers than I am though.

I'm just going to leave all the feedback and comments on soundcloud, I find that's more convenient.
