Metallica, Limp Bizkit, Judah Priest, and Buckcherry
Bergtatt by Ulver. Still within the realm of black metal, but melodic and relatively chill.
If you like that, then you'll hate metal. Because you are fucking entry-level hipster.
Thanks
Aren't you dead now? Get back to grave maan.
whatever gotta start somewhere
that's hipster metal for people who don't like metal
just stick whatever you were listening to before
>hipster metal
ah, so that's what we're calling good metal these days
Basically this. Sunbather is alright and doesnt deserve the hate they get but if this is the first metal band you've enjoyed, you probably just don't like metal. Try Ulver- Bergtett and Burzum-Filosofem. Perhaps even Burzum- Jeg Faller
That's like saying "hey guys, I've just discovered Skrillex, can you recommend some more electronic music".
You're ears are already polluted, OP. Most good Metal is probably going to sound tame and uninteresting, due to the fact that Deafheaven is all over the fuckin map.
Just go for early Black Sabbath. Those are better than all of metal things.
>good metal is hipster metal
Eww, kill yourself plz.
>metal is good
Eww, kill yourself plz.
Ive just never put any effort into actually checking out any metal. Its not like ive had a dislike for metal up until Sunbather.
I didn't say metal is good. Your reasoning is fucking awful ma friendo.
This all sounds way more interesting then Sunbather, I get what yall were saying now
fair enough.

Do you see any moral problem in listening to Burzum-man Knut Hamsun?
Anders Breivik sent him his manifesto – it is a bad sign
I don't really mind the murder
And burning churches is fucked up but not altogether damning in the grand scheme of things, though I see why you could hate him for it
I don't even hate him
But still I want to feel guilty
I can't help it though because I like listening to the songs.
God, quit rubbing your pussy over varg and just listen to his music. If you're into punk, try this.
Easily the best metal album.

this is right. Check their first album OP
DAE hate metal elitists xD?
you need to go deeper
What's the deal with Sunbather? Why do you all seem to have such a disdain for it?
it has like one black metal song and the rest is screamogaze
Liturgy is way better hipster black metal
I'm a metal guy and I love this record.
However, it feels much more post metal than black metal desu
My favorites are Obscura/Colored Sands by Gorguts and Revocation's self-titled. They're both very heavy and full of interesting composition.
Borris - pink
I really enjoy electric wizard desu
np, nice triple dubs
