>Experimental, Various Genres
We start off my new label, Jacob And Friends, with the release of Eric Taxxon's Sky Simplified.
Will be accepting submissions for the label.
>New Release
>Eric Taxxon
>Sky Simplified
>Santa Cruz, Ambient, Ambient Pop, Drone, Vaporwave.
Description:
We often view the sky as something of an art piece in itself. Something reflective, as we wonder and gaze into its openness, while evolving with its ever changing shapes and colors. Eric Taxxon attempts to embody such in his new album, Sky Simplified. With droning synths and ambient melodies, Eric tackles how he holds viewership of the sky with his gentle and yet intricate production.
Now available for stream and download!
Support, scrobble, or review on RYM. Any feedback of any kind would be greatly appreciated. And give Eric some love. Thank You. :)
Also for anyone living in Houston, I will be performing at a showcase at Fitzgerald's on July 1st. If you have an interest in going, contact me for tickets.

Lazy so here be thy recs
I really like the percussive sounds. Overall the sound design here is pretty cool, although personally I feel like the low end is a little too rumbly. Would probably be nice alone in the car at night
Cool rhythms. The weakest point in the song is the first synth and it's lack of dynamics. Sometimes it feels like you're straining to hit the notes you're singing, but overall the vocals aren't bad. Gives me Royal Canoe vibes. In general it seems like you could use work on your sound design, but the song is alright overall
didn't see your email until now, replied!
Wish I could hear the drums more and I'm not a fan of the vocals. I like the crunchiness of everything but its really just not speaking to me.
Sounds really drunk and loose and I like it. Mix sounds pretty muddy and thats a turn off but the Mac Demarco-ish feel you have is working out for you, I only wish there were some organs or synths in here
big recs, huge and eternal
Really cool sounds, reminds me of Nils Frahms production a little. I could see these being nice as music in the background but they dont seem to have the type of progression that would keep my attention. "is c." is pretty sweet though, weird in a good way
Did you listen to only 3 track and judge it's background music? Those three tracks don't represent the album, each track is different and has its own things. yd8 is more abstract and less beat driven than is c. or Acco or Scr1. Others are more melodic, but not two tracks are the same.
Solo project that evolved into a 5 piece band from Orlando FL
Have previously collaborated with Polysemy and Foliage
If you're playing a show near the Orlando area hit us up. We're always looking for bands to play with.
>Shoegaze,Dreampop,Post-Punk
Working on 5 song EP consisting of new versions of the demos we have and a couple new songs.

Will listen soon, seems to be interesting
I meant no offense man, saying it'd be nice in the background wasn't an insult. And I'm sorry but I dont have time to listen to everybodys albums all the way through, that would take hours and I'm going to sleep soon
None in particular. Simply send a demo or something you might want to release.
