>clipside of the pinkeye flight--I'm not the percent you think survives
>the last thing I remember now--who brought me here?

ye

>I'm tired, so tired
>I'm tired of having sex

>Everytime I pin down what I think I want it slips away, the ghost slips away
>I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry...

Yes.

>we came in?
>isn't this where...

Let's get this out of the way.
No, fuck you, it's shit.

"Acid rain is falling watch the humans crawling....they maybe had a breakdown or something." I guess it does broadly.

>Stay in the shadows
>Don't leave

no

>I do not exist we faithfully insist
>I do not exist; only you exist

Perfectly.

>I believe them bones are me
>If I could, would you?

Yeah, I guess so

>In the next world war I am born again.
>Hey idiot! Slow down! Slow down!

I'd say no.

>Stay
>Leave

>Hey, would you like to hear a secret?
>My singing voice is gone! My singing voice is gone! My singing voice is-

oh...

That's actually a pretty cool contradiction.

>It's dreaming weather we're on
>And the branches spell 'Alice' and I belong only to you
Yeah

>You're just trying to read, but im always standing in your light

>I just wanna know that I did all i could with what I was given

Yeah

>BREAK DA LAW BREAK DA LAW
>Insert it Insert it in her mouth

it sums up about 2 thirds of the album perfectly

>Living off borrowed time, the clock tick faster
>Find him on the grind, he's the rhinestone cowboy
>no.

>I hover above you
>Fuck off and you'll be alright
Damn...

>Every nigger is a star
>maybe I'm just another nigga

nevermind I'm retarded

Damn....

>Doors and windows on, motion on
>All the nights I don't die
Yeah I'd say it fits.

>BULLETS FLY THROUGH THE AIR
>FUCK ALL YA HOES BITCH
absolutely

I'd say that about sums it up in a sense

the feels

But he's born again after a car crash because he didn't slow down

>When you were young you were the king of carrot flowers
>But don't hate her when she gets up to leave
To me, yeah it does.

>Sending the first scouts over

>White star, white ship–Nightjar, transmit: transcend!
White star, white ship–Nightjar, transmit: trans-

loops infinitely like Finnegans wake

>would't it be nice if we were older?
>The things that made me love you so much then, Could we ever bring 'em back once they have gone, Oh, Caroline no
Pretty much. Both songs about love which is a prevalent theme of the album.
It's interesting that the first one is from a youthful person looking forward to future love and the last is an older one lamenting the way a past love has changed. Never really noticed it before but they're both pretty damn appropriately placed.

>Dreams and wishes, like shooting stars
>Coming up rushes

>Take care not to hurt yourself
>Beware of the need for help

This is making me feel

>The ocean floor is hidden from your viewing lens, a depth perception languished in the night. All my life I've been sowing the wounds but the seeds sprout a lachrymal cloud.
The beginning and end of the album have the same verse

>"haha"

>*inaudibly low rap noises*

>Everything that keeps me together is falling apart
>They ain't made of nothin' but water and shit

Almost

meant

So it's not / Loaded stadiums or ballparks

You're the oldest juvenile delinquent bum / My best friend

I'd say it captures the melancholic tone of the album pretty well.

>Those who know, they don't let it show
>We're down on our knees and we've nothing to say
it's up to you

>I really love you, and I mean you
>...and the way you kiss will always be a very special thing to me...

wrong

youtube.com/watch?v=6gv76BhbFu8

>Why are you so scared and creeping around,
>taking photographs all over town?

>"We know you're not wanted for your heart,
>They knew it was black right from the start,
>You could end everything right here..."

You are both technically correct though.

>a sinister slide resounds through the fountainhead found
>travelled too far from the river's side

The last one does, idk about the second

idk about the first* god damn I suck

>photo
kek

>From the top of the ocean, YEAH
>From the bottom of the sky, GODDAMN

>It's all nice on ice, alright!

No, not really

>There is no castration fear

>I can't see what I want
eh

>I think I'll go home and mull this over before I cram it down my throat
>Loiter the whole day through and lose yourself in lines dissecting love

Hold on this works

the last line of that album is actually "four."

>Why does she sing these sad songs for me? I'm not the one to bring tenderly bring her soft sympathy

>Fair thee well, my love, goodbye

yup

>Stay in the shadows
>Just don't leave

Yeah pretty much to a damn T lol

>Look out of any window, any morning, any evening, any day
>Back home, sit down and patch my bones, and get back truckin' on

Seems right, but Attics of My Life should have been the album closer

>after years of waiting, nothing came
>someone's listening in

Paranoia and lonliness, so yeah

>We came in

>Isn't this where...

eh, mostly

>Get the idea
>Cross around the track

>Like the time I ran away
>Turned around and you were standing close to me

Yeah, it captures that bittersweet feeling pretty well. They fit together nicely

>tfw never gonna get any of this shit again
fuck everything lads

>I wish that I had known in that first minute we met
>the unpayable debt that I owed you

>You're screaming and cursing
>and angry and hurting me
>smiling and crying
>apologizing

The songs themselves do, but not the final lines

>getgetgetgetgotgotgotgot
>I know the first three numbers
>Deebedeebedeebe.

Perhaps

>Auschwitz, the meaning of pain
>The way that I want you to die

>Make it fast, your time of sorrow
>On his trail, I'll make you follow

kinda ig

>war profiteering is killing us all
>95% of the world is third world

>Dream my fears come true as i'm trying to feel alright

>Everything I knew is up in the air.

Yeah, fuck... nightmare realized.

ilu

FUCK YOUOOUOUOUOU I came here to post this

I'll take my life like I kept it

But I can't say I wouldn't I have my limit
All the nights I don't die

yeah some themes

>Ice storm's coming
>But where are we walking to?

Yep.

>The test begins... now!
>All we have is now
Kinda. It's like we never got out of the first song

>I've been wasting this fucking year on the idea of getting up and moving on, but I wait around
>I've been living like a sailor, my sea legs are wearing down.

I mean yeah its pretty fucking sad

>All I want in life's a little bit of love

>And I will love you

>It was twenty years ago today / Sgt. Pepper taught the band to play
>Sgt. Pepper's lonely, Sgt. Pepper's lonely / Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band

fuck

this really is one of the best albums of the decade

makes sense considering it's an album about being cucked hard co-written by the cuckold and cuck queen together.

what

dont soil that masterpiece with your pol memes

>Stay in
>Don't leave

anytime i see another dear hunter fan here im happy. who's hype for act v?

youtube.com/watch?v=5nPS_4ZjouY

That's normal for music.

The album was written about Jason and Kate's breakup from both their perspectives. The breakup was basically the result of her fucking another guy while they were still together, and then immediately marrying him. The album was about the nebulous situation and awkward lack of closure.

>everything in its right place
>i will see you in the next life

maybe

>Talk, it's only talk.

>I just, I just remember thinking... this is a dangerous place.

Decent.

>stay to listen to the album
>leave cause it's over

aw poor spaceman :(
but its true the best art comes from misery

She's not the cuckqueen then .Cuckqueen would imply she was cheated on too
Also lol she secretely married the guy. Imagine breaking the news about it. Awkward

I don't think it soils it one iota. It makes it that much better, considering they explored the awkwardness as artists rather than just be bitter plebs and fight about it.

>pac? PAC?
damn....

I wasn't counting the spoken part, but ok

I agree I was just criticizing his way of saying it

You forgot Raining Blood

>Now I shall reign in blood

>Since I left you
>I found the world so new

>I tried but I just can't get you
>ever since the day I left you
;_;
Pretty sad ending for the album

>My mouth is filled with his ovaries
>How do we stay warm?

Without context, no... considering the context, it makes perfect sense. The whole album they attempted to make something work and keep their love and warmth alive to endless futile results. It is the end of the attempt of a gay man to try to love a transwoman and failing.

>She's addicted to nicotine patches
>The Lord of The Flies was diagnosed as sound

:|

>I've been waiting for a guide to come and take me by the hand
>Could these sensations make me feel the pleasures of a normal man?

>Me in my own world, the one that you knew,
>For way too long

Damn

>Through the warmthest cord of care
>Your love was sent to me

>She's strong in his hands, she is beyond her
>On her own she is human, and she does faults

I'd say yes

rly makes u thingk...

>30!
>Triple X
Sure

When did tumblr release an album that wasn't Halsey?

>You dig down, underground now
>Because you’ll always be my hero, even if I never see you again

Kinda?

The last track actually fades into the first one. Pic related also does this

>The thunder clouds broke up
>They know my red blood is warm still

Huh, I literally never realised that that was kind of circular.

>What is it?
>Now

>Sleep, like a pillow
>I let you get to me

>She wears denim wherever she goes
>Be the sun we all know?

...nah.

>You might think you've peeped the scene/You haven't, the real one's far too mean

>Who will survive in America?

it kinda works

>I checked into a bargain priced room on La Cienega/Gazed out through the curtains at the parking lot/Walked down to the corner store just before nightfall in my bare feet/Black tarry asphalt, soft and hot

>My sister called at 3 AM/Just last December/She told me how you'd died at last, at last/And that morning at the racetrack was one thing I remembered

Works like a charm. Good job John.

Songs for the deaf
>Dead bull with the life from the low
>All of us food that hasn't died

Shows the progression of Homme's ego, at least
