This website is 18+

no i disregard video game music because i haven't gone near a video game since i was fucking 12 you degenerate manchild

this

>ranting about video games on imageboard

but you are a manchild

>Imagine someone actually saying this to you

Any fan of music who listens to more than what's on the radio, and disregards video game music, either does so without having listened to it or just doesn't play games.

There is such a wild field of genres and styles throughout all eras of gaming, it's quite amazing. Stop being so stubborn, you niggers.

>wild field of genres and styles throughout all eras of gaming
doesn't change the fact that it's all shitty bgm for children to play games to

also
>niggers

I think your home wants you back

reminder that videogames aren't art

I'm 22 and I was just playing Halo 5. Video games are okay in short bursts, the problems start when you get addicted.

halo has one of the best soundtracks around
odst was a personal favorite

games typically don't have great soundtracks because they're either drowned out by gameplay or meant as background filler... for the most part

some games do it differently, but currently, not many

it's no different from film scores really

Honestly the only video game soundtracks I've heard that I felt worked on their own as albums were the Katamari Damacy and Fez soundtracks

reminder that all creation is art whether you like it or not

That's completely subjective, but whatever.

Audiosurf = Best Video Game Soundtrack ever, 'nuff said.

Why 70% of it is just ambient noise and the other 30% is shitty butt rock

exactly, idiot

Most film scores after about 1960 are pretty terrible too though.

No some things actually have a utilitarian purpose

what about a company logo

Games with god tier soundtracks:
>Dark souls (entire series)
>Skyrim
>Red Dead Redemption
>Bioshock (first two)
>To The Moon
