No-wave is one of my favorite genres of music senpai. But I could use some recs for some modern bands. I'm a fan of Arab On Radar, but I found Talk Normal and Sightings to be disappointing. Anything else in that category I can check out?

They're not really no-wave influenced per se but they can be pretty noisy and abrasive, but most of all generally weird, fun and catchy in their own way without being too kooky; it feels genuine, which is a rare quality. They're also a pretty consistent and have been at it for quite some time now, so there's a lot of good stuff to do dig into if you like 'em.

Start with Apple O'.
