The year is now half over. Have you spent it wisely?
Listen to your library, show off your backlog, babble about new music, tell us what you have been listening to today and what you will listen to in the following month, laugh profusely at Jangle's Thrift Tourney, regret life decisions, and just let the good times role.
If you didn't see it in the other thread, my single will be Winona by Drop Nineteens

>Acid Witch - Witchtanic Hellucinations >doom metal
If you like smoking dope and songs about spooky witch shit, then check out this psychedelic infused death doom metal band. It has rather charming presentation and getting really fucking heavy with death-like vocals, sludgy riffs, killer guitar solo's, wah-wahs, and slightly cheesy but really fun keyboard sections. The whole package is horror filled fun.

actually "Ladno" is more like "ok, whatever", it is mostly used with a somewhat disappointed tone, not as neutral as "ok"
just googled it, found that out from a Reddit thread I clicked on really interested in learning Russian for realsies because it has applications in my likely career choice (Historian) "Ladna" and "Spaseeba" I picked up from Metro Last Light, it's about the only Russian I know
Hunter Ortiz
hey, have you heard Swans - White light etc? If no, can I change my rec to that? found out that is has the misanthropic descriptor which I didn't really expect before
Isaac Campbell
thank you Oh, it's p hard, but good luck! if you'd need any help with it, I'm a native speaker

My Girls is a really odd choice for a cover song, didn't really encapsulate what made the original great but it was still a very interesting listen in it's own right
Winona and My Aquarium are pretty great, sounded like clean shoegaze, bit of an oxymoron but it works kinda well
Anthony Nelson
Start with learning the cyrillic alphabet then, it isn't that hard and you will recognize words more easily (for example, sport is just sport, but you wouldn't recognize it when it's cпopт). This is what you were saying :) Лaднo, cпacибo.
Dylan Cook
I own that album man
Luis Perry
:( Go with Full of Hell then, can't really find something I really like with that descriptor.
Ryder Bell
Has there ever been a listenalong where the majority of people liked it?
compared to "Ladna, Spaseeba" "Лaднo, cпacибo" looks downright rude
Hudson Carter
a few, yeah
Lucas Ross
This would prob get shit on today
Jaxon Parker
but I have the feeling that same album wouldn't be liked by the majority of people when choosen now /daily/ has become a lot more skeptical against new albums I think
Camden Cox
ya exactly my thoughts classical could still be a safe choice
Bentley Diaz
Looks like we're good to go! I can chop off the album names if you guys want to, they're not that good looking, but I figured it'd be handy seeing as we didn't choose ⅔ ourselves.
Chase Rogers
ehehe
Connor Hill

Oliver Harris
wait, Tears for Fears still exist? what's the round 3 restriction btw?
Hudson Foster

Fugg. These ties always get me, man. I wish I was there for this one desu. They're actually releasing a new album this year I think.
