Resist the memes forever and ever

>resist the memes forever and ever
>finally give in and give this album a listen
>it's fucking great
and it isn't even remotely my preferred genre

tell me about those times that Sup Forums was right anons

You're stupid
get out of here

>"it's the GOAT user"
>muh experimental
>expect it to be trash, spork-core
>it's fast and bulbous

I enjoyed it desu

At least one person on mu is allways right about any subject, but other 100 never are

>And in my dreams you're alive and you're crying
>As your mouth moves in mine soft and sweet
>Rings of flowers round your eyes and I love you
>For the rest of your life

Exit this world.

¿what's the matter anons?

if you're autistic enough to not listen to something you might like because >le meme kek xDDDD then you shouldn't be allowed to like those albumd

I never actively avoided it because of Sup Forums it's a joke you autist
it just never seemed to interest me and I finally got over that disinterest and gave it a shot

You're the matter, you're 18 years late.

>you should be immediately able to tell apart my sarcasm from sincerity through text or you're autistic

kill youa're selve

This.

Nothing is more pathetic than teens who discovered this album on Sup Forums

IIII LOVE YOU JESUS CHRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIISTT

JESUS CHRIST I LOOOOOVE YOU YES I DOOOOOOOOOO

not the OP, but why does it matter how they discovered it?
desu i'd be glad if more people listened to good music.

I just wanted to talk about times you were pleasantly surprised by Sup Forums
Is there anything more pathetic than actually caring about how someone discovered an album, especially a good one?
jesus christ

face it grandpa, albums are being discovered in this era through Sup Forums, soundcloud, reviews and all things internet.

your CD/vinyl shit is dying

Because you're whole life is just a meme, Quaid.

all life is a meme you ignoramus

Maybe your whole life you fucking mongoloid.

>discovered in this era through Sup Forums

Stopped reading. You're not important

so your the only person on the planet who is exempt from meme status

you are delusional user

GOOOOLDALIIIIIINE MY DEAAAAAAAAAR

Never fucking reply to me again unless you're actually contributing to the thread you fucking loser.

>but why does it matter how they discovered it?
Because it was not earned.

...

"resisting the memes" is a meme.
if you haven't listened to even the entry-level shit then you aren't musically educated.

my dick is well earned by yr asshole

Wow you sure do take music seriously.
Fuck off music is a fun hobby who the fuck cares if you "earned" an album jesus christ just listen to shit.

Well... you've earned my hatred.

>haven't listened to one 'entry level' album
>must mean I haven't listened to any of them

>and it isn't even remotely my preferred genre
Which is that?

there isn't really a narrow single genre, but most of the music I listen to floats around the progressive rock world. King Crimson, Gentle Giant, VDGG to name some bands I come back to often.

I never really liked the "indie" sound with nasal college student vocals and acoustic strumming, so this was a surprise for me.

So you essentially just recently turned 19?

yes but I don't see the connection
I know exactly 2 people my age who listen to similar music

>yes but I don't see the connection
You don't see the connection between moving from jouvinile music to mature music at (coincidentally!!) the same time you come of age?
>I know exactly 2 people my age who listen to similar music
The fact that you don't know anyone interesting is not relevant.

Are the bands I listed considered juvenile, according to you?

>HOLY SHIT

is this serious? i honestly can't tell if you're serious rn

>according to you?
What? I'm not talking about my personal opinion.

I'm trying to understand what you mean by "juvenile music"

Enter the NeXT.
>based lain fan.

shut up

Music consumed by juveniles?

when I was 15 I went through a huge beethoven and bach phase

could you remove the stick from your arse and help me understand your autism?

I think I saw this guy in another thread.

He was sperging out trying to explain that popular music is for kids and art music is for worship and athiests can't understand music or something.

Makes sense
>unable to show empathy to other anons
>it's the other guy with autism
Which post? I will be honest.

>unable to show empathy to other anons
what, where

Archive is down so I can't find it but there was something about Sister Ray being shit and Lou Reed being a degenerate

Shoe me where you did empathize with me
No, it wasn't me. Sister Ray is great but Lou was a degenerate.

ok never mind then you're cool

that guy was a fucking edgelord

This is more a case of me being a massive fucking pleb but I avoided listening to Pet Sounds for years because I didn't like the Beatles and I thought anything by a band called "The Beach Boys" would be exclusively for WASP white picket families
Today it's my favourite album

you aren't wrong

So do you like The Beatles now?

I do admit that I did not actively emphasize with you, you didn't give me much to emphasize with
I suppose I enjoy the banter but I still want to know what you mean by juvenile music, why you said I "moved from juvenile music to mature music", considering that I don't even know what you define as "juvenile music". The bands I listed I'm listening to for years, are they considered "juvenile" while NMH is "adult"?

>The bands I listed I'm listening to for years, are they considered "juvenile" while NMH is "adult"?
If you already knew, why'd you ask?
>I do admit that I did not actively emphasize with you, you didn't give me much to emphasize with
You sheesh, you are the autistic user too. Maybe that's why you like music that stresses technicality over emotion.

A few songs

Pet Sounds is your favorite album, but you only like a few Beatles songs?

Finally the autist reveals himself, it took a long ass fuck time

>Maybe that's why you like music that stresses technicality over emotion.
King Crimson has always blended technicality and emotion very well, especially Belew-era albums
VDGG is not even remotely technicality stressed
Gentle Giant is an oddball band with influences from the sort of music that you don't hear anymore (ie not just romantic-era classical music), their songs are fun and amusing.

I imagine that you didn't get deeply into any of these bands if you think they have a disregard for emotion in any way.

>mfw I realize you're serious

i used to like tmr a lot, but then i listened to safe as milk

how can one artist release a masterpiece and then completely fucking lose it only two years later?

You are all so stupid. I can tell by these little arguments Im reading.

...

The fuck do you mean "earned"? Do I need to bend down and receive my daddy's cummies so I can listen to fucking music now faggot?

>prog
>mature

fucking lmao

"these damn kids!!!! how dare they discover music on the internet!!! back in my day we had to all gather around the town gramophone and lock arms while we listened to a single record then went back to dying at age 40 of smallpox!!!"

>Finally the autist reveals himself
See >emotion
How so?

idk what to even call those digits

...

>he's actually serious
