Best moment on In Rainbows
Hey! I saw them in Baltimore on Thursday night last week! They were fucking amazing. I loved Goodness, but it was a pretty big departure from Home, Like Noplace is there. They played almost every single song from Home thought besides Housebroken (they hate that song) and I think like 7 songs off the new album. Awesome set, and awesome band.
b-but housebroken is like my favorite song from that album.
:(
Sorry, they did an AMA on LeReddit a few months ago and said that the lyrics were misinterpreted by too many people and they felt the song just didn't flow with the rest of Home. I kind of agree with them, though I love the song too and think the entire Home album was a 9/10 album. I don't think they will ever play it live again.
i mean, i kinda figured the lyrics were a metaphor for a relationship about dependency issues or something, not about a dog. Although the live videos i've seen of the song, the singer literally said, :"this song is about a dog". Maybe it's really about a dog.
Yea, people thought it was about domestic violence, The Hotelier were like "No...it's not about that" but then just stopped playing it live after their first tour was done so they wouldn't be asked about it anymore.
>the guitar at the end of Identikit

Just listened to this song for the first time based off this rec. This is really nice, maybe I'll rethink digging into Radiohead's discography
BROKEN HEARTS MAKE IT RAIIIIN
what did you think of Bellows/Told Slant?
For me it's the entirety of the closer, Videotape. Such a haunting and surreal song.
In Rainbows is actually a really good place to start imo if you're already into music
Reckoner is just such a good song I feel like you almost have to like it, and from there you can just really get into the album
>Carissa was thirty-five
>You don't just raise two kids and take out your trash and die
>It's a beautiful world for you

Also, why does he play this in Major key when he plays it live? It's beautiful in Minor.
Someone said on here the other day that a normie told them that "Reckoner" sounds like the pedo from Family Guy and now I can't listen to it without laughing
