ITT: If you had to choose five Brian Eno albums for me to listen to, which would they be.

(I've already listened to Another Green World so don't include)

Oh, and, why?

Ambient 1-4
that's all

Here Come the Warm Jets, Music for Airports, Before and After Science, Taking Tiger Mountain, and My Life in the Bush of Ghosts with David Byrne.

Average ambient albums, despite the influence.

Evening Star is his most phenomenal ambient work IMO

Albums that he produced for other bands because im a fucking smart arse.

Apollo
Discreet Music
Evening Star
On Land

Before and after science, then Remain In The Light. You can tell that the former heavily influenced the ladder.

Ambient 1 and 4 are excellent you faggot. 2 and 3 have a couple great moments but yeah they're fairly average.

This.

Another Green World

Really? I think this is trash

this, especially his work with Byrne

...

great selection

I really like it user.
But I've always preferred Eno's art pop to his ambient stuff. That album is a treat because it's such a later Art Pop album.

>Here Come the Warm Jets
is appallingly bad

it's really terrible, 1 listen and you're done

Ambient 2,4
Apollo: Atmospeheres
Lux

this is objectively the worst opinion i've ever heard about anything in my entire life.

you must hate living, user

OH MY GOD FUCKING YES FINALLY SOMEONE ELSE MENTIONS THIS ALBUM

>all these posts
>not a single mention of The Ship
Disgraceful.

facile lyrics
noises and non-playing I'd expect from a university band

Normally it wouldn't ever be given the time of day apart from he became a bit of a name

you couldn't be anymore wrong
I feel sorry for you

Apollo
that's all you need to hear

>ambient 4
>average

How to spot someone how has never listens to ambient 4.
