Can someone explain to me how any Orchid album is considered emo? I'm not saying they're not, I just can't pick up on any resemblance between Chaos is Me and any other emo album soundwise.

You could technically call it emoviolence if you want to get into super obscure mini genres but I think it does sound a bit like 80s emo when it was harsher and angrier

All depends, I guess. Partially is digging it when I was younger and it was a nice departure from classic rock and pop. Wasn't too harsh like metal could be. Now some artists talk about a lot of problems I can identify with and I've already developed a palette for it.
