What's the best music player, Sup Forums?

I see things about software and headphones, but not physical devices.

an android phone with a 256 gb microsd card

ipod classic

This is what I use. Discontinued now though.

>ipod classic

This is what I was thinking.

Bump.

zune 120

Cheap Windows Phone with a brand new 128gb SD card
I finally have a big MP3 player on the go.

iphone

...

I've always heard ipod classic was a great music player. That's probably why apple discontinued it. They found out it was really good.

I still have mine bought in 2007~
still works great

Enjoy it while it lasts. Won't be working much longer.

i know, i'm already searching for an unopened one ebay.

I think this is pretty much the best current option.

fiio x1 (or x5 if you want to spend all that money)

So is the primary criterion storage space? If so, I think iPod Classic has the largest amount of space available. Could be wrong.

iPod classics are all overpriced and second hand now, they're the bedr but realistic

iPod Classic

-500 GB
-easy to use
-no anti-piracy measures like other MP3 players (player checks rather or not you bought the music)
-doesn't require you to only have music from a specific store
-super durable
-allows you to create playlists
-allows you to browse songs
-shuffle button
-can be hooked up to speakers
-easy to add music to

Of brand new, direct-from-retailer models, which music player is the best?

They're probably all phones by now, aren't they?

I guess my problem is battery power for my phone. I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 and it's good for a day on a single charge, but if I were running it constantly as a primary music player I'm concerned that wouldn't be the case.

This.

Pic related. Zune 120gb

I fucking lost the charging cable, though.

Why Zune?

Don't forget the X3

Because it's more affordable than an iPod classic.

Android Phone (s7 or v10 best) with 2tb card and Poweramp installed

>2 TB

Sign me up.

I have a 30 gig ipod video and a 160 gig remodeled version.

Good for you
