Listens to Steve Reich once

>listens to Steve Reich once

>listens to Beach House once

>name drops once
Reich's music is much more repetitive, and i don't mean this in a negative way.

In some ways OPN is pretty damn repetitive

>not Glass
>not Rifts

>listens to Beach House once

They're all the same bruh

why the bentley become jeep?

>"Oh-knee-oh-trix? Good heavens no! I would never concern myself with such offensively pedestrian drivel!"
>"Oh, my taste? You know, Reich, Glass, the list could go on really... You know, truly innovative and unique compositions"

whoever said that isn't wrong

spotted the poseur

>It's not who you steal from, it's how you steal.

wait what
who said it was who you steal from

stick to your "OPN, Ferraro, the list goes on", kid

This makes no sense

It doesn't matter if OPN ripped off Steve Reich if the album is good.

fanboyism at its best

Garden of Delete live was intense, saw it for $3...

I would love to see that live

cheap

OPN is repetitive without being boring. Polyrhythms, gentle modulation (prod wide, not music theory), and changing background noises make his loops tense or relaxing rather than stale.

I'm not sure I've ever heard qn artist remain so interesting despite having songs with like 16+ bar loops.
