ETIQUETTE -Include correct format (artist / band, title of release, year of release, cover art, the file type (v0, 320 mp3, FLAC, etc), short description, YouTube sample, link) - Send thanks if you have downloaded something to let them know they did a good thing - Avoid sharing / requesting things that are already on the archive - Soulseek /rutracker are your friends, too - just don't argue in this thread about it
REQUESTS >I have a request! Did I... - Check the archive for a live link before requesting? - Check the pastebin to see if it was in a discography or essentials folder? - Share something first? - google "blogspot + artist name + album name"
>I don't have anything to share! - Have a Goodwill, thrift store or library in your area? Try picking up the most obscure thing you can find there and share it. Somebody might be happy you shared it!
ARCHIVE >"I don't know how to find what I'm looking for in the archive" - Go here: >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>archive.rebeccablacktech.com/mu/ - When searching, limit your search to links only, like so: "desired album mega|zippyshare|mediafire" - Make sure you've typed "zippyshare" and not "zippy", or else Zippyshare links will not be found. - No samples available on Youtube, Soundcloud, etc? Drag'n'drop any MP3 on clyp.it

Om - Pilgrimage >Stoner rock, doom metal, psychedelic rock
sorry but its not there, also fuck that poo in a loo slsk, no fucking standard of ripping and careless uploaders. You need to fucking follow some "decent" guidance to rip album properly without errors + how the fuck you can be sure if there is no transcoded of transcode in FLAC anyway
Jacob White
Om is amazing, Pilgrim and that are easily their best
Check the pastebin of the archive before asking, which is in the opening post.
Jace Richardson
Well Mercury Rev's definitely great headphone music, their discography's in the pastebin if you're interested in them. As for lone albums with good production that fit in those genres you posted...
>Bodychoke - Cold River Songs >Jean Michel Jarre - Zoolook >Beck - Sea Change >Steely Dan - Aja

It's sample material, I promise!
An album by Minus that I just now realized wasn't tagged properly.
I guess this is as better thead than any to ask. I'm trying to find a song/music video. I don't remember much, other than the music video I think used an old russian cartoon about future space cops or something. It was kinda trippy.
Adrian Perez
This isn't really what the sharethread is for. You might be better off making a thread.
Leo Brooks
Making a thread seems more of a waste, plus what I'm on can't upload images. You can't post a thread without an image anymore.
Justin Jones
>Various Artists - No New York (1978) [320] >No Wave, Noise Rock, Experimental Rock >Compilation includes songs from The Contortions, Teenage Jesus & The Jerks, Mars and D.N.A.
>Bodychoke - Cold River Songs I don't really dig noise rock at all
>Jean Michel Jarre - Zoolook >Beck - Sea Change but these two sound very promising!
>Steely Dan - Aja I have that already in my collection
Thanks for recommendations!

Why are almost all the zips in the archive corrupt
Carter Bennett
I think mega was taken down for a bit because of all the piracy
Thomas Lewis
pardon?
Ian Watson
Wasn't Sup Forums freaking out over a tweet a while back, saying something like "Make sure all you mega files are backed up"? Or am I just completely imagining this?
Eli Peterson
because retards don't pack in rar and don't add 10% data recovery
Kayden Wilson
My dude you NEED to listen to OM and Sleep if you haven't.

Doesn't slsk show the bitrate of the song you are downloading?
Wyatt Brown
any more good stoner stuff along these lines? better yet, a directory? i've been hunting through the archive but looking for more.
Mason Nguyen
I will keep this short:
1) Download from trusted sources your lossless music! (what.cd, waffles, ru tracker) 2) Check if the album was ripped with EAC, check if it has log 3) After downloading FLAC album verify with AccuRip and see if the album have any matches in data bases, if Yes then the FLAC you have is genuine copy.
The slsk is a place for 12 y/o trolls who laugh their asses off tricking people encoding the mp3 to FLAC or just doing it mindlessly because they lack any common sense or education in that regard.
So be aware.
Austin Jackson
aaaaaand it's another "the archive is down" episode
How is it hard to do a copy of all the sharethreads in a simple text file & store it somewhere? it could be an easy backup solution in moments like this
Mason Perry
If anyone happens to have Pages' discography would you mind posting it? Searching google for it is an absolute bitch.
