ITT: Album closers that are good songs but bad finales

>"Some Girls Are Bigger Than Others"

Perfect Closer. I bet your bitch ass would have the super-serious Light That Never Goes Out as the last track, because the Smiths are only good when they're stone-faced and sordid, right? Also "Send me your pillow, the one that you sleep on, and I'll send you mine" are some of the best closing lines ever.

do u really trhink there is a light is stonefaced

...

I don't know where you're getting this from, but actually I don't think any of the songs on the album as it is would work as a closer

Something else would've been good. I'm fine with it ending on a lighthearted note, but lyrics can't close an album on their own, the music needs to do the same, and the track feels like a middle track to me.

Frankly Mr. Shankly is the patrician choice for a hypothetical closer song.

Reservations

and you've yet to post a better choice. if you're gonna shitpost do it better pls. because right now you hold the opinion of a 16 yr school girl who can't decide what to wear but says no to everyone's suggestions
pfft

...

The fuck are you on about now? I literally said that none of the songs on the album could be used as the closer. How the hell am I supposed to pick one if there isn't one? They should've made a song with the closer in mind, I don't think they did on The Queen Is Dead.

Are you a die-hard Smiths fan or something? It's not like I said the album is bad, it's fantastic. Its main flaw is that it doesn't close very well.

And actually now that I think about it this could work

I can get behind this idea. "Give us money" would be hilarious closing lyrics.

>They should've made a song with the closer in mind
You clearly don't know shit about the smiths or the 80's
fucking rockists like you need to lay down and rot.

>macroposter tells another person to "lay down and rot"
wew

You're right. I don't know anything about the smiths or music in the 80's. It's not like "Meat Is Murder" is a perfect closer for that album or anything. It's not like there are albums from the 80's (and before) with great, thoughtful closers. Yeah. Alright. Whatever you say.

lay down and rot, you idiots no nothing about music. it's pathetic that I'm even responding to you.

The Teacher's Are Afraid Of The Pupils

Great rebuttal. Nice beret if that's you.

glad you conceded that you're pathetic lmao

Buffon's take a music course you might learn something!

i know you're not the real aaron quit posting

What would I learn? How the fuck would taking a music course (which I've already done by the way) teach me anything about album closers? We're talking about albums, not just songs, because if we were talking about songs, you would know that I said "Some Girls Are Bigger Than Others" is a good song.

I don't know if you're baiting or not, but regardless your posts are shit. Go make yourself a trip while you're at it.
