It's like a better version of Jack Johnson from the 80s.
It's, uhh, club music
kek, this.
Your dad's taste is god-tier, just admit it.
i'm not even going to try
This is a pretty popular modern ambient album, kinda has a conflict of light and dark to it. personally not THAT much of a fan, but it's not bad.
Relaxing power pop, you would probably like it
No, I'm not gay, dad.
The way elements of light and dark are contained throughout this track is akin to some of the best music out of baroque era.
You liked Autobahn, right? This is one of their other releases.
its kinda a bunch of sounds that kinda remind you of a 60s sound effect for a satellite
Song is Interstellar Overdrive
Hey uh yeah this isn't pornmusicjust it is a nice song yeah... yeah I know rain can't actually be purple, wait maybe it can we could look that up. Prince died yeah it's sad.
>parents don't even know who prince is

my dad was the one who showed me kraftwerk how cool is that
>implying there are not-slave brazillians
How into them? Like, only knew the most famous tracks, or had a knowledge of many songs from multiple albums?
unrelated and another user but
>at dad's house having breakfast with him this morning
>we start talking music
>I bring up this one black metal album that was created by two schizophrenic cultists, explained how it's more like experimental blackened rock and it was really creepy but cool
>start talking weirdo musicians
>pulls out john fahey second pressing record and starts talking about how he would write some crazy manifestos, especially in the liner notes
it was in shit condition but that was cool as fuck, I love having a dad who loves music.
His favorite album was Radio-Aktivitat, and he says he has Autobahn on vinyl but I never saw it
>David Bowie
Don't have to explain shit, I'm good
It's supposed to be a made up situation. Also what if the dad isn't familiar with that specific song too well or the song is at a low volume so the dad had to ask what it is playing?
>Also what if the dad isn't familiar with that specific song too well or the song is at a low volume so the dad had to ask what it is playing?
Just say you're listening to prince, it's not hard.
I mentioned prince in my post?

>It's, um, jazz.
>Yeah jazz is actually pretty crazy sometimes, it isn't always smooth jazz...
>Yeah, she isn't really singing.. it's a jazz thing. You learn to enjoy it, though.
>I mean, it isn't for everyone.
>Thanks, dad...
I really dislike singing in Jazz.
Oh yeah, they're a band that literally just takes soundbites from other artists and slaps them together into new songs. Yeah, it's called plunderphonics. Also there's rappers. You ever heard of Danny Brown? No? OK good. Check this shit out though
>AAAAAAHHHH FRANKIE SINATRA
this album took 16 years to make, dad
Its hard to explain
>It's weird stoner stuff
>Yea, It's Zappa
>I would've figured your stoner friends way back probably smoked dope to this
...
It's like the gobbling of a thousand turkeys but played on guitar
heavy noise rap with thought provocative lyrics barked by a hobo
my father who only listens to pre-90s asked: "is this old school?" when i played double helix.
it's old porno music
