Speaking as an American, the answer is Brazil
Probably Syria
Netherlands
USA
germany i guess, talking from a non-nerdy perspective. not many people are familiar with nico, faust, neu, and stuff like gas and the 90s techno scene. and by not many people i mean the average joe.
from a nerdy perspective some south american country probably.
I feel those German artists are kind of overrated by critics at this point. They're very good but a bit too common.
>not many people are familiar with nico, faust, neu, and stuff like gas and the 90s techno scene.
RUSSIA ITALY, INDONESIA, IRAN . THE US IN THE SENSE THAT MOST OF ARE ARTISTS ARE RECOGNIZED WITHIN OUR COUNTRY ON A HIGHER LEVEL ONLY AFTER OBTAINING SUCCESS WITHIN ANOTHER COUNTRY.
Are you okay? No need to type in all caps.
Thats right though, especially in Germany itself
Does anyone on Sup Forums listen to Finnish music?
Pic related, best Finnish album of the year 2016 so far. Might be a bit hard to get into for those who don't know the language.
The US conditions music listeners and fans to band wagon post an artists avant garde stage of creativity. In other words we'll only accept them when they've wattered down their act.
The only Gas Germany is familiar with is the stuff they use to kill retards with like you guys.
Well, Neu has a 9.7 on pitchfork, Faust a 9, Nico a 9.2, etc.. Perhaps unknown to normies but one of the biggest local scenes I can even think of.
Omar Suleyman is from Syria. There are plenty of countries of which I know absolutely nothing
Considering the population, i would say Iceland have many great artist. Mainly indie and alternative
Ya im good this is just a fire topic and i compusively typed. I got all excited and shit.
the people picking non-western countries are poseurs
This M8.
.but i said unknown to 'the average joe' aka normies you fucking retards.
By that logic, more obscure countries are still a better choice, considering even publications don't praise them.
Argentina. The 70's spawned world class music like Sui Generis, Vox Dei, Aquelarre, Pescado Rabioso etc.
but Iceland is pretty highly rated, even if it's just for Björk, Sigur Rós and maybe Múm
>CHAD hangs out with NIGGERS while YOU build a wall to keep the MEXICANS out
Australia, New Zealand, and Germany are all criminally underrated for the amount of good music they have produced.
This is excellent, thanks for sharing.

Indian Classical Music is really amazing.
Sweden. They should be regarded as being just as important as the US and UK.

Or, you know, ABBA if you're not a retard.
From what I know, Brazil.
Also, most void of talent shithole in the world: Memexico
This. I lots of good artists from there. My personal favourite is Dungen.
The swedish language has lots of cool sounds you dont hear in english either
USSR.
