A masterpiece.

Really?
I would give it a 9/11.
Bush would listen to it again

It's their worst, coming from someone who's a massive fan

...

I don't understand why this isn't considered Animal Collective's best work.

I agree, but I still really enjoyed it. Wouldn't say it was a 10/10 though.

...

...

Another Sargent House classic

Gangs is better but this is second

Heirs is even worse.

Nah, definitely not man, the band went to shit when Tony Wright left though

indie pop at its best

Wish they would focus on fewer but more expansive songs. Some songs like Animal Ghosts had great potential but over in less than three minutes. Then you had shit like Run Home and Wasps that were just plain bad. Only song that really stuck with me was Redesigned a Million Times

Run Home was the best song on the album what are you on about

It had terrible pacing. That quiet moment straight out of nowhere in the middle of the song that lasted for 1.5 minutes completely ruined the song for me.

This metal album has been out for years but NOBODY talks about it even though its pretty much sublime 10/10.

meh

This is basically the "good albums are underrated because moo doesn't meme about them 24/7".

...

That's not even their best album.

This album was practically Sup Forumscore back in 2012 and now nobody ever talks about it

Saw him live and it was one of the best gigs I've been to, I loved it and Lighght about a year ago but kinda stopped caring about them afterwards, hopefully the new album will rekindle my interest.

...

Outside of Sup Forums, obviously. It's definitely not underrated here. I don't know what else to say, except that it's my favorite album.

Listen to String Quartet.
His cover of This Must Be The Place is incredible.
Kishi Bashi is severely slept on by this board.

One of his best ones

...

...

You think your funny?

This is a solid setlist, cheers man, feel it all coming back now

...

literally a 10/10

My 2nd favorite pink Floyd album.

tbshimih it's pretty gimmicky, its fun but it has one trick and it wears thin around the the third listen
It's like that fucking "Super Sonic Steppin on it" album or anything by fucking Midori

Probably my favourite hip-hop record.

AUZGHAZUHGUAHJU(AHUHANUAHUAH

Damn you got me there

first being?

And this is their terribly underrated first album that's even underrated here.

A Sauceful of secrets

I feel like its legacy has sort of been taken away because of how awful they are now, but this album really is great.

haha NO

I really highly rated this album when it came out

they desecended into a derivative pop band because Levine was hot and it was a lazy option i guess. Shame

This album hit me so hard. The lyrics were beautiful, and the guitar was amazing. Everyone needs to listen to it.

Now that's a criminally underrated album

...

(yo

...

...

Idk if I'd call it underated but i think it is fantastic nonetheless.

go see them live and tell me that this album is 'meh'

Presented without comment

fridge in general desu
>literally a postrock album by fucking four tet and i've never seen it on Sup Forums

this one

agree

Short & sweet

>And he got the nerve to be wearing a helmet!

no lie, i'll back this up

it will go down as a classic

underrated but still not all that great

fucking love this album

Pretty good call.

such a great album. such a great band live.

really any Zach Hill work outside of Death Grips

12/10
unbelievable amounts of comfy musical perfection

Lack of artistic vision/10

I don't know why I love it so much

youtube.com/watch?v=727mQuiMp_E

I thought Innerspeaker was their most popular

Only their debut tops this for me

stop viraling

OPs album is the one that is lacking and unoriginal

I actually haven't heard much tame impala's work

Bob drake - Lawn Ornaments

Tame impala is literally Beatles 2.0

Roar - Impossible Animals

this desu

This album had the potential to save rock and roll but somehow the mainstream kept circlejerking over tacky female dance pop and girl groups.
Jello Biafra said it was "possibly the most important European record ever".

what a fucking retard

...

Never gave that a listen. Saw them live with ORLG around 2008, snagged their first album but left something to be desired.

Greeeeeeen Briiiiiiicks

...

is it 2014 again?

kek/eke

Everything about this album just feels so thick.
Every time I listen to this record, I feel like I can reach out and touch the music in front of me. It's a pretty immersive experience - it's like moving through a block of sparkling, swirling sound.

One of the best power pop records ever made. Killer songwriting, awesome vocals, and a pretty cool blend of influences.

>When you have an original pressing that has I Got A Woman on it
feels good

Tim Buckley is one of the most progressive musicians I've heard.

don't be ashamed, it's probably the best album of all time

with you OP, deserves love, probably their best record imo, great influences, quality tunes

Sometimes I think it's perfect and sometimes I think it's pure shit.

Everyone always gravitates towards By the Throat instead of Steel Wound which is a damn shame

This is the real underrated candy claws gem. It's much more varied and melodic than C&C. Two Airships/Exploder Falls is also underrated and amazing.

just gonna leave this here

love it

Agree, don't see much of him here

their singles are all they have

the first two tracks are 11/10 by themselves, and it's one of the few albums I can actually listen to all the way through

Agreed. First time I listened to it I only really liked the poppier songs but when I relistened to it recently I fell in love with Manchester and the whole album clicked. Too bad the lyrics are pretty bad

pic related. Every song tackles a different side of synthpop while still feeling distinctly theirs and consistent throughout.
