It's just a mediocre album. The actual song Meat is Murder is actually one of the highlights and more interesting songs for me, even though I'm not vegetarian. I can see the arguments for Strangeways, The Queen is Dead, and the s/t all being the best Smiths album. I don't see any real argument for this one. The Smiths have such a strong album that by comparison this one doesn't stand up.
