yeah, I will admit the majority of both genres are pretty shit though. also, when I say I'm cheating with using happy breakbeat hardcore, I really mean it. happy hardcore technically derived from it and became its own thing sans-breakbeats, but the early period when it still typically had them in some form is pretty great
