Define "Best"

whatever you enjoy

...

Violent Femmes and Weezer are the only teen angst bands that aren't shit. Prove me wrong.

pic related
most of are good
early Panic! were so much better than those two too

Nirvana says hello

...

...

...

>what is Sup Forumscore

These are the best albums for teen angst

good albums except for nvm the bollocks

Yeah, it's just because I like one or two songs on that one and I've just replayed them over and over lol

but Weezer is shit

...

here you go OP

>prove me wrong
>having never heard of Deja Entendu

The best teen angst album

The Who did teen angst the best.

>"prove me wrong"

have you even heard Deja Entendu??

This and Celebrity Skin are like peak teen girl angst

samefag

Unironically enjoy it

>the black parade
>not three cheers for sweet revenge

More teen or more angst?

speaking of MCR

i'm really doubting it's gonna be a new album. too close to the tenth anniversary of black parade.

...

flawless

Yeah, that does seem to be what most people are saying. But it seems too vague and ominous to just be that.

Not to mention, why would it take two months to finish a re release? It seems like it's being way too hyped up to just be that.

what the FUCK did they mean by that??

Siamese Dream is the ultimate angst album. Nothing gets angstier than that without seeming tryhard and cringy

not even their most angsty

reminder that everyone has their own threshold for what's "cringey" and that teen angst is a pretty damn exciting mindstate, nothing negative really

good album tho
Mellon Collie > just because of Tonight, Tonight

I feel like teen angst is kind of inherently cringy after you pass your teens. Doesn't mean it isn't enjoyable, or that those feelings didn't feel super real at the time

not him, but I'm 19 and this shit is like cocaine to my ears and I just want to enjoy it until it's too late.

>posts mcr in Sup Forums thread
>expects hate
>only positive replies

Feelsgoodman

I still love all of their albums and I'm 25. If they tour I would love to go. I feel like the majority of the attendees are just going to be other mid to late 20s scene girls anyways.

I like early FOB

Sup Forums is 50/50 on MCR. There are the people who believe The Black Parade will be remembered as one of the best rock albums of the decade, and there are the stupid people.

oh man, bullets is a fucking ride

brand new isn't really big with me but i LOVE their first two albums

I'm such a sucker for everything FOB puts out.

Folie is my favorite by them.

Folie is objectively their best album. Nothing can top it except for maybe Take This To Your Grave

people who hate MCR only do so because of the admittedly terrible fanbase.

Their music was fantastic.

>filename
plsno

I'm one of the former then, literally every song except for teenagers is 5/5.

Nirvana doesn't belong here.

even the B-Sides were great.

Dead! has to be my favorite song though.

The title track is my favorite, but Dead! is definitely a close second, along with the other tracks.

They're by far the best on that collage but you can't deny they're angsty.

bring on the hate

>can't into essential punk

...

Fantastic is a stretch. Everything with nostalgia needs to be kept marked down a little to account for inflation

ONE THING

Do people who listen to 21 pilots really also fall into the same demographic that listen to Dead and Tool?

yes. my girlfriend's favorite two bands are TOP and tool. and then the rest of nu metal. i blame her dad

...

I agree but I just got into MCR like 6
months ago.

...

titus is college angst

he doesn't really sing about teen angst anymore now does he?

it's clearly trying to cover a bunch of different tastes

Gee, I'm sorry lad

Low - I could live in hope.

really any bones album

SoaD is kinda angsty

This.

Kinda? They are the definition of teenage angst.

it's really not a problem. it was at first ("why can't you like music I like wahh") but then I stopped being a judgemental asshole. she actually took me to a TOP concert last night and they put on a good ass show, and we managed to find the only other adults in the pit amongst the sea of tweens and had fun.

soad is very angsty, and the more I hear them the more I realize that as time goes on and bush matters less and less, so does 90% of their their music

i dont know if Bish Bosch really fits there

their their

also angsty: built to spill and modest mouse

Billy Talent II

...

on the flip side they're gonna be relevant again once trump gets elected

i won't lie, if trump presidency issues forth some gold tier soad albums then that'll be pretty rad

IN A PERFECT WORLD

MAKE SOAD GREAT AGAIN

tokyo anal dynamite desu

...

I don't think I'll ever relate to a song as much as I did to Pink Triangle.

honestly their best album

youtube.com/playlist?list=PL9D8F6376021120BA

Pretty much. I'd be lying if I said I didn't like some of his stuff, though.

Kek. That is a very specific feel. Wishing you the best, user.

I feel that is true of a lot of this music. Always assumed Brand New was shit based on the fanbase, but was pleasantly surprised when I realized the influences of Modest Mouse and NIN in their later albums.

Were it not for the fanbases, I don't think there would be such satisfaction in shitting on these bands. That said, a lot of it is just awful.

WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS

that album sucked desu. only one good song and it was 32 secs

Headstrong by trapt. Speaking of which I'm seeing them tonight.

it was all phony arena rock Queen bombast, get the fuck out of here

>he didn't like San Diego or Cynical

>Fanisk - Noontide

kek

you could make a case for either of MCR's first two albums on there instead of TBP, but otherwise this looks good to me

...

This and Everything Sucks are great

TBP is literally meme-tier man
When you say angst, people say TBP

I think this is more early twenties angst than teen but i still dig it.

I can vouch for this.

Kill All Your Friends is, I think, the mostly completely they can be represented in one song

...

Under-appreciated band. Good taste, user. If you want to hear something recent, but heavily influenced by these guys, check out Superheaven/Daylight.
