Aside from meme shit like Pulse Demon
AJJ*
>meme shit
What do you mean?
>What do you mean?
Meme shit
Pulse Demon isn't even in Merzbow's top 10 most abrasive albums.
STGSTV or Filth
which would you say is number one?
You don't want to argue why Pulse Demon is "meme shit" PCIAGI isn't?
brainbombs
No
I'd say that depends on your definition abrasive.
i just picked the meme :^(
throbbing gristle
those guitars on black n white
White Suns
Some power electronic release that even came with an pamphlet thingy describing this story of a guy that legally became some women's slave giving up all his human rights and stuff, with very graphic descriptions of sadistic acts, it was messed-up.
swans / captain beefheart / bisch bosch people saying death grips aw how cute

I just got finished listening to Nyogthaeblisz compilation. I never thought I'd see them mentioned on Sup Forums esp now.
yirat hashem
It sucks so much that they had to cancel their NA tour this summer.
niggas on the moon is not that abrasive. lots of trash metal/noise is way more of a challenge
listen to wolf eyes
One day you will ache like I ache is the most abrasive album I've listened through multiple times.
What's the story behind them?
good album familia
That one breath before all hell breaks loose on One Day You Will Ache Like I ache
I think this fits the term abrasive pretty well.
Here we have the stage in a Sup Forumstant's browsing experience when the Sup Forumstant develops slightly beyond the surface level album recommendations. The superiority complex is also part of this stage.
machine gun by brotzman
People who use the word "normie" listen to Death Grips.
STGSTV isn't that abrasive
Since I'm a far better poster than him, I'll explain it.
Merzbow is the most recognizable noise artist. Pulse Demon is his most recognizable album.
So, posting Pulse Demon in a thread about the most abrasive music you've heard is simply regurgitating the general consensus, the oft-spoken answer, the meme of Merzbow being the first and last in noise and abrasive music in general.
Now, for the matter of Public Castration, that's somewhat different. While Swans is quite a common band for harsh or abrasive music threads, PCIAGI is not their most recognizable album. Filth would be much more of a meme to post. If this were a thread about "heavy music", however, Public Castration would fit right in, as that album is frequently posted as an example, though it is outclassed by Earth 2 in that regard, just as it is outclassed by Pulse Demon in this thread.
I personally don't find Pulse Demon to be the most abrasive. I think several albums by Whitehouse are much more abrasive, due to their use of abrasive lyricism and concept as opposed to simple sonic harshness.
>Les Rallizes Denudes
meme music
retards only think they're good because they're obscure
But all noise rock was obscure, nobody cares about les rallizes denudes because just making noisy music doesn't make it good, they're just a bland chingchong Velvet Underground copycat band
what exactly is abrasive in terms of music?
basically this
also the full of hell/merzbow collab
and the body/thou collab
This
Too bad the album is shit and sounds like a parody of free jazz done by a pretentious Jew
Hanatarash or Kaoru Abe
>picks Swans
>shits on people for saying Death Grips
Look everyone it's a colossal faggot
I would say Aphex Twin's Ventolin or basically all of Lightning Bolt's S/T and Hypermagic Mountain
>wanting to listen to "abrasive" music
You'll grow out of it son
Wow, almost every post in this thread is completely fucking embarrassing
I agree
...
I don't want to. I'm just gathering these things for a personal project of mine.
Shit idk merzbow
But Burzum is probably the most furious music ive ever listened to
This desu
I don't really look for abrasive music though
I have yet to hear it. Why the hell hasn't any power electronics artist ever tried to add some sort of powerful and intense percussion and some bass? I swear they have this blueprint for abrasiveness but never fully carry it out. Otherwise we only have:
Swans - Public Castration Is A Good Idea
Boredoms - Pop Tatari (maybe Eye's Hanatarash stuff, too)
Gnaw Their Tongues - All The Dread Magnificence Of Perversity
That one older Whitehouse record that actually has some percussion I forgot it's name
So close...yet so far to abrasive perfection.
Oh and idk maybe this, too I am stil not sure if it's funny or legit intense and abrasive.
what album is this?

HOW WOULD YOU LIKE TO WET YOUR FEET IN A COLD SWIMMING

Зaтyхaниe - st
it's noisy black metal. Very short but I still wouldn't recommend listening to it.
senpai this sounds like a lo-fi sci-fi action movie soundtrack
agreed
came here to post this
What genre is this? it's pretty cool
Are you talking about why the tour got cancelled? The main dude has to serve jail time, which conflicted with the tour (he was originally told the time would be served in the fall, but apparently it got changed).
If you're talking about the band, they're like war metal with some noise elements. I described them to my friend as "Blasphemy on a bad acid trip."
Not that guy, but you should really check out more of The Body's stuff. Not really sure how to describe them. I'd say their collaboration with Krief is their noisiest
crudbump
how is captain beefheart abrasive? TMR is the most beautiful album ever recorded. The guitars and drumming are unmatched
Was talking about both actually, so thanks for clearing it up.
I feel like I'm on r/music with these album mentions.
