I made that exact face after listening to that

obligatory

...

Is Weezer really that normie though?

Yes

in general

about as normie as Smash Mouth

even more, actually

If we're looking at it as a regular alternative band, yeah pretty normie.

As a potential emo band back in the day, not really

yes. normies were teens once too. they just grew out of it.

Nothing more normie than this

dark side of the moon
nevermind
demon days

oh fuck i didnt read the 10/10 part

All great albums though. Solid 7-9's/10

Is fallout boy a good band? I've only lisented to their music that's been in the top 40, I just decided to avoid it, because I bunch of fucking tumblr chicks in my school at the time lisented to it.

They're total fucking garbage

1989

OP said 10/10 albums

This album is really good

Holy shit thank god I avoided them

...

...

>"i could care less"

no thanks man i'm a fan of grammar

>bunch of fucking tumblr chicks in my school at the time lisented to it.

thats basically their whole fanbase. Same applies to MCR Twenty one pilots, panic at the disco, the 1975 and similar stuff. just simply stay away from that

>when elton john starts harmonizing with the band

Folie a Deux is a straight 10/10 pop album

Based, elite muscular opinion.

2 bad the fanbase ruins the music because some of those bands are actually pretty good.

That album is fucking awful

I mean straight up not listening to a band because of a fan base is kind of stupid, you just gotta distance yourself from those people

...

well i would listen to the music but then where do you go to talk about it? that's why i said it ruins the music. you can't talk to anyone about the experience or your favorite songs because everyone else who listens to it is annoying

Yeah I guess you're right.

It's called not giving a shit what other people think. No one has ever made fun of me for listening to My Chemical Romance. I cop more shit for listening to Kanye than I do for anything else.

heh, if thats your opnion. from what i have listen the reason for me to not like them is because most of them are all around the pop based formula, for example, if you go listen to the latest panic at the disco album you notice that all the songs sound the same, as if they were a copy pasta, and have a formula behind , this really makes you think how much of an effort did this artist put on his album. fallout boy dont do this as much from what i have heard but bands like twenty one pilots and the 1975 fall into this category.

>meme rap man + gay queen man
thanks for the heads up, user. i'll be sure to steer clear of this one.

why do you need human interaction to enjoy a piece of music?
also all of you smug assholes are 500 times worse than anybody i've met in real life and i hope you all have a bad day tomorrow

youtube.com/watch?v=5XR7naZ_zZA

not an album but god damn this sounds good

...

ITT: Cringe that'll last to the next millenium

I love fall out boy but these two most recent albums are 5/10

this right here is what i think of when i think of 10/10 normie core

literally one of my favorite albums and bands

>no IAOTS
I'm dissapointed Sup Forums

>itt Sup Forums shows all the early 2000's pop punk they secretly love

actual 10/10 normie music

...

...

This album is pretty fucking good

Fall Out Boy is pretty frigging great if you don't hate fun.

Since when did having fun equate to being 15

That's not even the best FOB album you pleb.

album for normies AOTY for how many years?
God I'm sick of fucking kenny lemar

Take This To Your Grave is 10/10 high school Warped Tour pop punk

Folie à Deux is pretty good mainstream alt-rock if that's your thing.

Their other albums are all pretty hit or miss tho imo.

Great album, highly recomend

how is this album for normies

The whole reason I got into ELO was because I heard Twilight on that Daicon IV animation back in the day.

Best MCR album, this is non-negotiable.

That cover is cringe

real original joke you got there.

that's not The Black Parade

...

If people who don't browse Sup Forums listen to it it becomes normie music

Queens of the stone age aint that normie

damn that bait was so bad no one even bothered responding. I'll respond to cheer you up, man.

seconding this. the best Muse album.

idk if it's super normie but seconded user, totbl is the shit

Good albums
Absolute shit

>hurr Sup Forumscore is good everything else is bad

I bet you don't get out much.

...

I haven't seen this cover art in 7 years.

this is pretty gud

desu

I hate the hipster girl fanbase

In the Aeroplane over the Sea

why can't normie bands make good cover art?

this album is 10/10 if you come into it expecting late 2000s pop and nothing more

That MCR one is pretty good imo

Listen fall out boy has been mentioned
Before theybhot back together in 2012 or whatever, Patrick Stump, who writes most of their music and has also produced other tracks for other musicians, made his own solo album.
He did all the instruments and everything himself. It's called Soul Punk and its the best pop album of the decade. It has good lyrics too.

youtu.be/lMLMKRq-k90

Honestly, as awful as that album is, I think American Beauty / American Psycho has pretty good cover art.

...

Not normie music, but still good shit.

...

...

...

>I'll never grow up listening to it before the disgusting hipster fanbase

fidlar is a pretty gud normie band, what does /mu. think of them?

they can, pic related

also this relates to the topic

I'm pretty sure normies only know "Kids" from MGMT.

Also, that one.

Cool band, but my friend group has played them to death so I'm pretty tired of them

I LOVE this album.

I think you'll find that entire album's aren't normie. Only a few select songs off an album is normie.
Normie's don't listen to albums

You should visit us more frecuently

Every Radiohead album

Oh wait... they're not even remotely 10/10

This actually really surprised me when I listened to it. JT is so based

What makes something "normie" music?

Before this thread, I wouldn't have expected Fidlar to fit.

I mean shit, I'd argue Mountain Goats and Bright Eyes are more "normie" than Fidlar, and Sup Forums doesn't treat them as normie shit.
