Hayden Who - Present

Metronomy - The English Riviera

The Chameleons - Strange Times

Whats the name of the album below next to Public Image?

>Hayden Who - Present

thanks for the rec, but I can't find their music. must be really obscure

I'd hang out with you

you wear long coats and smoke filterless cigarettes

thanks for those res, gonna give that cardigans album a listen to tonight

>Diamanda Galas

what album of hers should I start with

uku kuut - vision of estonia

robert henke - floating point

neither, sorry

haydenwho.bandcamp.com/music
strangely Present isn't on there anymore, but I'm sure that's on soulseek

Malediction and Prayer I'd say

junior senior - D-D-Don't Don't Stop The Beat

thanks for the recs

You mind explaining why? I can't seem to get into it, and I know I can't force myself to like it, but I want to see it from a different angle.

Soul-Junk - 1956

>lulu
:^)

>You mind explaining why?
it's been BnT's favorite meme for years and he's basically become one with the album now

well taking a little look at the Frank Wedekind plays it's based on can go a long way. it's pretty much Lou doing what he does best, both delivery-wise and lyrically. Metallica is just there to provide unrestrained minimalist start-stop jams (that actually nail that "going crazy in a garage" sound a lot better than a lot of their other stuff) for him to interact with. Junior Dad's the best song to try to get into it, I'd say. outside of the context of the album the singles they released just come off as buttrock

chemical brothers - brothers gonna work it out

it must be listened to on a big system with a big subwoofer

Black Light Burns - Cruel Melody
Videodrone - s/t
Won James Won - Boиня Beзyмия

albergo intergalattico spaziale - s/t

What's good, loves?

If you gonna rec, please I would like more punk that does some crazy stuff, but does it in the more "American" style where the raw energy is still intact as opposed to the "European" style where it gets eschewed for more attempts at trying to be experimental. Nothing wrong with that style, but not what I am looking for.

With this much poppy stuff on your chart I always wonder what your actual posting style is outside these threads. Do you not post much because others will lambast you for entry level taste? Or do you pretend to be patrician or do some other form of trolling? Or is this chart some form of pretend troll roleplay in of itself?

Do you like any 90s Eurodance?

youtube.com/watch?v=M0quXl_od3g
youtube.com/watch?v=ym-5MFAxeQc
youtube.com/watch?v=Kv7tyMpxtTw

Maybe a catchy Buckethead track?
youtube.com/watch?v=BxpOdMRUcRc

Someone really likes their music synthy as fuck. Though maybe not like their music as electronic as they initially make it appear.

VNV Nation - Burning Empires
Mindinabox - Crossroads
Assemblage 23 - Defiance
Front Line Assembly - Tactical Neural Implant

I am not gonna ask the usual "is this shit for real or no" cuz I am sure everyone does. All I'll rec is

Black Flag - Family Man
Glenn Branca - Symphony No 13
Gaza - I Don't Care Where I Go When I Die

Though the chances are, you'll say you have already heard these whether you have or haven't since we'll never know.

This chart's oddly...fantastic in having many fantasy aesthetics. Do you like your doomy end of the worlds to feel a little more psychedelic along with how stoner-y they all are?

Warhorse - As Heaven Turns To Ash

If I remember you correctly since I haven't been here in a while, you actually listen to everything you get recced by others!

You seem to know your shit though, so Imma just rec

And the Native Hipsters - There Goes Concorde Again

...

thanks senpai I'll try to keep it in mind until I get back from vacation and can download things

>I am not gonna ask the usual "is this shit for real or no" cuz I am sure everyone does.
>Though the chances are, you'll say you have already heard these whether you have or haven't
???

I haven't gotten around to that Branca symphony yet, how does it compare to the rest of his work?
I've listened to some black flag songs but they weren't as good as Rollins' acting in Wrong Turn 2 so I kinda gave up

same

satanicpornocultshop my senpai

rec OP goddammit

mad respect for those hardcore DEVO picks

Feederz - Ever Feel Like Killing Your Boss?

Shattered Faith - The Posh Boy EP

he's basically saying you seem like a guy who's a stereotypical poseur

I'll give recs if i see anyone reccable

well that's not my intention so that's unfortunate I guess? it didn't stop him from giving recs though so no harm done to anyone

戸川純 - 玉姫様 if you haven't heard it yet
you may have

always looking to be less of a faggot

Arab On Radar - S/T

Ex Models - Zoo Psychology

fuck meant to respond tolisten to adult jazz

Thanks user

>With this much poppy stuff on your chart I always wonder what your actual posting style is outside these threads. Do you not post much because others will lambast you for entry level taste? Or do you pretend to be patrician or do some other form of trolling? Or is this chart some form of pretend troll roleplay in of itself?

no, I'm completely serious with my charts
I don't hide what my tastes are (if I did I wouldn't have made my chart)
like I'll post In Your Dreams in favourite album threads and if you go into the collage threads you'll often see my poppy collages ( is my current collage)
I get the occasional bit of hate but I'm not bothered by it

anyway, I've only heard a bit of eurodance stuff but it seems okay, I think it's the sort of stuff I could easily get into
that buckethead song wasn't bad either, thanks

It needs an update but my top 4 is still the same except for UP

will rec later

Joe Jackson - Fast Forward

Freestyle Fellowship - Innercity Griots
Count Bass D - Dwight Spitz
Rodan - Rusty

All you tripfags with your damn obscure tastes and trying to look cool even though we know you jam ITAOTS endlessly!

Tbhqhyw familia, I am just dicking around.

>I haven't gotten around to that Branca symphony yet, how does it compare to the rest of his work?
It's like the microtonal ideas he was going for in Symphony 9, but taken to a whole new level entirely due to the number of guitars involved to make the sound.

>I've listened to some black flag songs but they weren't as good as Rollins' acting in Wrong Turn 2 so I kinda gave up
You haven't listened to that Black Flag album though. It's nothing like what you think of as Black Flag, and hated on by most of their fans. Some of your albums in your chart make me think maybe you might like its approach.

Thanks for the recs famalama! Yeah I'll rec OP.

>Feeding Of The 5000
>on a Sup Forums chart

will rec l8r

rate my taste from 1-10

good stuff strong 7- light 8

thanks famalamborghini, appreciate it

the united states of america is great, i thought tim buckley was just mediocre, haven't listened to anything else so coo

lBrian Eno - Music for Airports

LSD & the Search for God - S/T

a solid 7

dicking around's what this place is for I'm pretty sure. also ITAOTS is a good and charming album and I should come back to it more often.

also googling that black flag album tells me most of it is spoken word, which means there's a p good chance your rec is right on, I love the sound of people talking so much

I dunno about r8ing but check out Pollen by Pulsar yeah?

i'm fucking loving this famallama

u tried swirlies
cool taste friend.....
u listened to ensemble pittoresque? you might like them

7.5
Mostly good, a few I'm not too fond of

Minimal Man - The Shroud Of

Amon Duul 2 - Yeti

Talk Talk - Laughing Stock

...

glad to hear it, Joe's one of my favourite pop songwriters, and Fast Forward was one of the things I loved most last year. he's been at it consistently since the 80s and he hasn't slipped since

Dauden - Reflections of Failure

will do my dude, thanks

>swirlies
nah, i'll check them out, thanks

A couple of easy ones that you've probably heard:
The Microphones - Mount Eerie
Brand New - Deja Entendu
Gorillaz - Demon Days
Arcade Fire - Funeral

Just surprised you'd rate other albums higher and/or not include therse albums from these artists

i have not heard flipper whatever that is

Might be! I was gonna mention that someone in a previous chart thread also told me to check out Eno. I had forgotten which eno album in particular it was that he (you) recommended but I guess it was Before And After Science. Small world

>all the charts that are exclusively Sup Forumscore are authentic taste
get the fuck out of here drone

...

didn't you already post in this thread ? >topsters2 (1).png

Don't mind me, just spotting the poseurs itt

>he likes music I don't know! what a poser!

post chart

the thing about the poseur meme is how could you possibly know that they don't just like that music

>Don't mind me, just spotting the poseurs itt
see i have no idea how im suddenly poseur lmao

>top charts often filled with inaccessible music that are well received by critics known to like inaccessibility for inaccessibility's sake
>name/tripfagging as well
Definitely not posers.

it honestly doesn't matter at all who's misrepresenting their preferences itt as long as i can find new music i like from them
your problem is that you look at posts in terms of what the people behind them might be. it doesn't matter

this. the entire point of this anonymous Sup Forums thing is to be judged on content, not on who you may or may not be

lol if you think the majority of music on those charts is inaccessible you need to listen to more music

next

previous

fucking moron

he means compared to accessible music, not less inaccessible music

The most inaccessible on
loveless or halber mensch
daikanjyo
don't know most of these 2bh but the ones I know aren't inaccessible (slint, unwound, paavoharju, blackshaw, jackson c frank)
bach probably
trout mask replica, also almost all these albums are popular on Sup Forums

so basically this

yah ur dum, what's new?

>be danish
>choke to death
-
anyone looking for a recc?

even in the realm of people who people who are interested in music, these are not inaccessible. how shitty has Sup Forums become that charts with this heat, unwound, einsturzende neubaten etc are considered so out there that people can't comprehend that people actually like them for what they are. for a board dedicated to music this is embarassing, even if people are posting that poseur meme ironically

just because there are albums on a chart that aren't the same 100 everyone on this board jerks off to doesn't make them a poser, why is that such a difficult concept to understand

I know them all that's why I can call people out for their bullshit

they don't, that's why they use a name/trip, go to daily
