We already live in a world where China leads economically. They try to help everyone and their sphere of influence is pretty impressive by now. Central Asia, Pakistan, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Egypt. All the way to mediterranean. They seem to do good business with the EU too. Seems like US is getting pushed out in non political, non military spheres.

kek

Thank god we gonna escape the war because we're not ''RICS'' anymore.

>Brazil
That's impossible.
>Russia
Would be a world where we all have vodka instead of tap water. no thank you lol
>India
Would be amazin. It would be a world with spirituality and shiet but without toilets :(
>China
a productive world but soulless. no music, no fashion, no gourmet food but also no poor people, no nonsenseness and high level of education

>That's impossible.
kek how come?

>a world where we all have vodka instead of tap water
>no thank you lol

Brazilian economy is a joke, your education is a joke, you have way too high corruption and too much crime.

Isn't India going to take over China in economics?

As the rest...

Don't get me wrong, Brazil has lots of potential and number of Portuguese speakers in Africa is rapidly increasing. But seriously, fix your economy and then focus on social problems. No point in think about social development if economy is bad.

Economy is ongoing now.

It's not our fault that niggers up north don't wanna work.

". In the long-term, the Brazil GDP Growth Rate is projected to trend around 1.50 percent in 2020, according to our econometric models"
Prove me wrong and I'll go and study Portuguese.

>projections
that mean shit, anything can happen m8, especially since there are elections in 2018, and the most popular democratically elected history is the favorite

I give you that, hopefully your next parliament will get their heads out of their asses.

well, everything was going well until Dilma decided austerity was the way to solve our crisis instead of doing what Lula did in 2008. This plus she being a hard liner and not coping with the Head of the Congress corruption led her to her impeachment. And the funny part is our new president is doing austerity too, selling our oil towards foreign companies and want to freeze the government budget for 20 years to gain the foreign market trust kek

Shouldn't you guys build better infrastructure and make the necessary investments so your economy has the means to grow?

yes, that is obvious, but that obviously upsets those on top and those aligned with the USA

I just don't get it. You have huge, growing population, excellent geographical position, oil and shit. Also you're no illiterate and some projections have placed Brazil as potential superpower. Yet your politicians seem to shoot themselves to the leg. Can't they understand that successful Brazil equals more money for themselves too? I mean more than could be gained by good old fashioned political corruption.

Not in the next 30 years lol
Even if we take the whole century as the time frame, India would at best level even with them at some point in the 21st century, unless if China's government collapses
But i do not thats likely.

>Can't they understand that successful Brazil equals more money for themselves too?
It doesn't equal to them more money, because they will lose power and privileges m8, also because doing so will literally increase wages, industrialize our country further and make them lose their traditional power giving birth to a new elite. Also you could say, why don't they do themselves? Because no, it's easier that way and it's already settled, so why risk it in doing something you can lose everything? That is why it's easier being a commodity seller to the USA, or a latifundiary famer in some backwards place than actually doing something towards the country. Our elites are fucked up m8, they literally don't give a shit about anything but themselves and their family. They are simply stupid. That is why when we started to diminish our inequality and industrialize our country, they got pissed as hell, since they were losing political power over the country, but they had no power to actually take power again since the Worker's Party (socialist party of Dilma/Lula) was winning every election. And now they used this opportunity to literally save their asses from our Judiciary which is determined to stop corruption and regain their power again by non-democratic means

Take over, rise to the current level or catch up with the Chinese economy?

>socialist party being the most reasonable in economics
How fucked up is that?

it's because like most southern european countries, left leaning parties are actually nationalistic, since our culture is socialistic due to catholicism and shit, and right leaning are simply USA cocksuckers that say fuck the poor and I am entitled to better shit since I am better than you

To simply catch up to the Chinese economy it would take several decades.
To get to the current level of the Chinese it would take another decade or so (by then it would be like one third the size of the Chinese GDP at that time).

China
>pollution, everyone enslaved to the government trying to survive on pennies, soulless

India
>same as China except no one uses toliets and the smell of curry is inescapable

Russia
>pic related

Brazil
>designated death squads, racial hierarchies lots of walls

>right leaning USA cocksuckers
What they fail to understand is that they would actually keep their privileges in more economically better society. Hell, they'd be better off because they have the investment money and connections.

Russia seems like a fun place to live in.

>What they fail to understand is that they would actually keep their privileges in more economically better society.
Well for that you need actually to study, innovate and actually develop industry. People here enjoy life not mattering how rich/poor they are m8, that is why we tend to stay in the status quo too. That is why like Italy, if we want to develop our economy we need to have a strong government to do it, since our elites won't do it. That is what went right in 2002-2010, Lula made friendship with some entrepreneurs and with them they did tons of infrastructure/industry constructions everywhere in the country, pretty much like Italy in 1890s. The entrepreneurs got security since it's a government thing, and the government is able to develop their industry also cash in some corruption money, so it's a win-win situation

That user is a socialist/leftist so that is just how his brain works. Tbh, just forget everything you read from him so far. If you are curious about brazil economy just go for your favorite newspaper.

What i can tell you is that, since we took down the last president thing are getting bright again. Inflation went down, the real is gaining value, interest rate went down, Bovespa is going up. Even petrobras is recovering. The "house of commons" even approved last week new legislation to reduce public expenditure for the next 20 years.
