HNNNNGGGGGG

>x here

She*

would you still like it if you found out about the artist?

:o

>metalfag
He probably likes them smelly and hairy

Mmmmmm

Just let her go, she's forgotten now, let it go...

>she's forgotten now
keep telling youself, lad

is it actually good guys? should I listen to grimes?

no don't let the waifu-fags or this tasteless OP convince you

yes, you should, "grimes is bad" meme is outdated

>person with horrible taste here, i enjoy this fucking awful album
yeah no shit

Yeah, i think the production in combination with her high pitchen voice sounds great, though the songs could be structured better

the "grimes is good" meme is even more outdated

Vanessa is Grimes best song. Prove me wrong, fags. Oh yeah you cant

but thats not Oblivion friend :)

It may be a meme, but it's great for real. Listen to it asap.

Already forgot about REALiTi or Be a Body?

Not surprised - in my experience metal heads tend to connect with her stuff very readily.

Yeah cuz Oblivion is a fucking banger

It's a decent synthpop album but half of it is fillers
Can't see why someone who only enjoys metal would like it though

HOW
HOW
HOW do people like Grimes.
She is such fucking trash I can't stand her.

montie you aren't even trolling today you're just reenacting the short bus

waifucore + visions had good singles

>literal children enjoy grimes

wow, no surprise there

>HOW do people like Grimes.
By not being you, I guess... not a dig - just following your own logic.

>It's a decent synthpop album but half of it is fillers
What you call filler it's actually the most interesting part. And the hardest to get into.

>Can't see why someone who only enjoys metal would like it though
How is metal even remotely similar to dreampop with a cute female vocalist? They're miles apart.

>take a break from Sup Forums for 2 years
>all the good old tripfriends are gone
>this is the new generation of Sup Forumstripfags
I'm out

>Likes Oasis
>Still thinks he has a right to have an opinion on music

>How is metal even remotely similar to dreampop with a cute female vocalist? They're miles apart.

Sonically speaking, yes, but if you study the way that Grimes' and a lot of metal music are constructed (huge amounts of attention payed to textural detail as well as copious sonic references to medieval /classical musical forms and structures) they actually do bear a lot of common traits.

I'm a classical musician, and while I can't say that I'm particularly fond of the sonic palates of either contemporary metal or pop music, I still find Grimes and the occasional metal track to be very enjoyable.

So, Grimes is more like an exception than the norm.

Imo definitely - most contemporary music (excepting new wave/classic goth) makes me want to run screaming. Not hers.
