cool guy, love all those albums except blutetiel and lync, because I haven't heard of them

why do these threads always die right after I post

I'm only picky about a couple things, I love routine but i'm far from OCD.

this thread isn't dead, it's on the first page. they usually take 100+ posts before they die. they're just not as fast as other threads because they require a litle more time and effort than your average post

*bluetile
fuck

hi
people do know me as that one laid back guy. You're probably not too far off from that, either. You used to smoke, but it wore you down.

A kind, caring person who wants to connect with people/make friends, but deep down depressed and ultimately lonely, introspective, keeps depression/anxiety hidden from other people for fear of pushing them away or unloading problems on others. (20 yo or so)

Also put down the bottle brother it's not healthy to drink as much as I feel like you do.

I'm not him, but damn if you didn't hit the nail on the head.

very neat and meticulous

yep, that's me, I don't drink though
Used to be really addicted to Oxy though

>bump

Well I do hope you guys start to feel better about yourselves, seriously, I'm sure you've got a lot more worth than you probably give yourselves credit for.

I was doing pretty good with my depression until my dad OD'd

wants to try lucid dreaming but hasn't

You're a gay faggot

18, "got into music through Sup Forums," recently finished hs, etc.

King of the Jews is fantastic. Fuckfest and Woman were awful but that was masterful.

Oh shit

>Unwound- Fake Train

That's actually in mine too, almost forgot about that shit. Top taste

Put Fake train at 5 and knock everything else down a peg, eliminating Beatles

lol props to you too on hounds of love that is one of me and my mother's favs :~)

Such a mystifying album front to back, I swear it gives me goosebumps. The entire array emotions packed into one CD. Cloudbusting is one of the greatest songs of all time.

yeah i love kate bush i love the howls in title track i love how that album is arranged

Atomizer is better.

1.Dead Kennedys - Plastic Surgery Disasters/In God We Trust Inc.

5.Jimi Hendrix - Are You Experienced?
6.Joy Division - Substance
7.Bad Brains - Rock For Light
8.The Germs - M.I.A.
9. Nirvana - In Utero
10. Bauhaus - Mask

Rate me fags

>6.Joy Division - Substance
>mfw not Closer/UP

It is what it is. I think it's a great album. Have you actually listened to the whole thing? It's composed really well
Definitely not haha

good job picking the correct DKs album (seriously so much better than Fresh Fruit), although adding in the reissue with the In God We Trust EP is cheating

>Joy Division - Substance
>listening to a compilation album

Same man, PSD is leagues ahead, probably the epitome of the DK sound. I threw in In God we Trust because i fucking love it so much, but it would be an even bigger cheat to throw a 15 minute EP on my list and call it an album, and its already reissued with the album so why not?

>substance compilation album

I know what you're saying but fuck im sure me and every other Joy Division fan on Sup Forums (if not the whole world) is tired of hearing about closer or UP. Not to mention substance has a fuck ton of great tracks on it. so sue me.

my top 10:

mountain goats - all hail west texas
mineral - the power of failing
UGK - ridin' dirty
swans - white light from the mouth of infinity
the smiths - the smiths
autopsy - mental funeral
three 6 mafia - mystic stylez
sigh - imaginary sonicscape
pg.99 - document #8
animal collective - spirit they're gone, spirit they've vanished

r8 me

yeah totally agreed that it's the epitome of their sound. I really love Frankenchrist, but PSD is just the perfect mix between the hardcore sound and the weird surf rock sound. and I'm just giving you shit, I'm obsessed with listening to albums in the format they were originally created on account of my autism.

Substance honestly is a very good pick, Transmission is my favorite JD song and that's pretty much the only way you can get it on an album.

topsters is down
What's the other site again?

still unsure of what he wants to do in his life and whether or not it really matters
depressed but hides it
constantly worried
probably a senior in hs or a freshman in college, trying to find a hobby and discovered Sup Forumssic

neverendingchartrendering.org/

Kinda bland taste, but they're all good releases.

I like the tracks on Substance but there are a lot of tracks on their that are not my favorite.

...

...

>bland taste
I haven't heard a single one of those records except for the soundtracks.
Used to be sad but is slowly becoming more nihilistic. This could be considered negative, but you've just become more relaxed with life - which allows you to be happier.
Is over 6ft. and has a girlfriend.
Used to be a problem child but turned out to be surprisingly intellectual.
Young and excited for what's to come in your life. Your currently growing a lot as a person.

here it is in picture format with an attempt to rank 1-10

amazing! u posted twice yet still haven't contributed to the thread

MY NIGGA

Do you like this song?

It's personally my all time favorite three six song.

youtube.com/watch?v=9Qt4byHi7YM

I meant it's musically rather simplistic, except for Cynic and Mahavishnu.

you remind me of me.
you play rock band? most of this music is stuff i discovered on rock band.

i-i did, just not in my rankings post

yeah every track from Mystic Stylez is a classic IMO. i also love the early mixtapes with all the fuzz and pseudo-screwed vocals. you could honestly look at early Three 6 as a precursor to cloud rap.

you are the worst kind of person in the world LAWL

seriously though kill yourself.

>he developed his taste of music from video games

smells odd and wants to have sex with minors
tries to drink away the part of the day you can't sleep away
young and not yet depressed

Those Seefeel and Wake albums are fantastic.

...

sweet tooth
contemplative
in desperate need for oxytocin

...

Kek, just realized I totally forgot to give opinions

>Likes B&S, likes CSH, likes YLT
We have a pretty similar taste, so your ranking of seasons would go like this:
autumn>spring>>>summer>winter

Uses windows phone

The type of person who can actually read a book like Moby Dick

Posted in rate my dick threads on Sup Forums at least once

Can't wait for a summer to end so he can se what college life looks like.

---------

Might do more later on

...

...

>1.Dead Kennedys - Plastic Surgery Disasters/In God We Trust Inc.
shit band, shit album
>2.Urinals - Negative Capability
I thought I was the only Urinals fan around here, huh
>4.The Monks - Black Monk Time
It's more of a footnote than anything
>9. Nirvana - In Utero
Nirvana is punk for boring depressed kids
Complete trash
>10. Bauhaus - Mask
I remember having this taste when I was 12 too

>autumn>spring>>>summer>winter
Switch summer and winter and you're good

I don't know what my ten favorite albums are.

How do you decide?

Just choose the ten albums you listen to the most

the ten albums I've been listening to the most recently

I usually find new stuff to listen to.

I've only been listening to six albums recently. Would singles count?

>I usually find new stuff to listen to.
Well then get some fucking taste
You aren't listening to the right stuff if you don't find yourself coming back to albums you particularly like
But I'm a musician so I usually pick one album and listen to it nonstop for a few weeks until I feel familiar with it and understand it

I like the new stuff I listen to.

A year is a reasonable period of time to entertain an album.

There are a few that I think of automatically, to decide the rest I go over last.fm charts

I GOT SOME SHIT TO SAY JUST FOR THE FUCK OF IT...

I don't use last fm.

Even "milestone" albums in my life, I don't always appreciate. There are so many flaws that contemporary music becomes more interesting for its "freshness."

don't overthink it friendo
nice digits by the way

It doesn't take much thought to gravitate toward the present.

It actually takes more thought to try and organize the past.

you can always just pick ten albums you've been listening to lately, or even just the last ten albums you listened to
