>Americans

nope, only people from Chicago call this retarded casserole a "pizza"

Might as well shove a bowl of melted cheese into your mouth

where is the PEPERONIS??

well who told you to go eat Chicago deep dish? I certainly don't eat that shit, and most Americans don't.

when most Americans think of "pizza" New York style comes to mind, not Chicago-deep-dish-casserole-disaster.

Wtf. It's disgusting.

>when most Americans think of "pizza" they think of Digiorno's
ftfy

No pineapple

are you faggot?

yeah, that's probably true. but I live and grew up in Queens, so everyone I know is a New Yorker.

in any case, Digiorno's and other shit like it are clearly New York imitators or within the "style" of New York pizza. so my point still stands for the most part. all the fast food chains do "New York style" pizza, rather than Chicago deep dish. it just tastes like shit and isn't fresh or uses low quality ingredients compared to visiting an actual/real pizzeria.

>tfw ate 2 bros a few days ago

No... This is what murricans call a pizza

Deep dish is better than anything the fucking dago faggots from jew york make

Only sissy betas who jerk off to cuck porn hate it

>Spaghetti sauce instead of ketchup

One job, Germany.

come to Astoria to try some wood-fired pizza m8

>Only sissy betas who jerk off to cuck porn hate it
You got me

Doesn't mean that your slop isn't the shittiest thing on the planet

Which pizza place in Astoria do you recommend?

Milkflower is probably the best as far as wood-fired pizza goes.

Think I'll go there next weekend tbqh

fatzza

Hope you enjoy it. Go for The Queen if you want a basic/classic no frills Margherita/New York pie.

Or get the Spicy Soppressata if you want something with a little more kick to it. It's my personal favorite at Milkflower, pic very related.

Yeah that's just Chicago style deepdish, pretty much everyone outside the Midwest refuses to accept its pizza and even then you'd have a hard time finding it with regularity outside the bigger cities in the Chicago area.

>he doesn't enjoy a nice slice of 'go 'za

>that fucking """cheese""" made from plastic

triggered as KANKER

are you a pleb?

No. I order it here in Poland as well. It's yummy.

>American "pizza" thread
>No one has posted the """thin crust"""
Come on lads

which astoria

this looks like finnish cooking

there's only one "astoria" in new york city, mate.

there's more than one astoria

name an astoria in new york city that isn't "astoria, queens". I'll wait here for you to find one.

i fucking remember people in annadale also call it astoria. same with tottenville.

>staten island

okay, firstly, some bants: staten island barely qualifies as NYC.

secondly, and most importantly, these silly neighborhoods in staten island are not named astoria, and I can't find anything on google to suggest that anyone who lives there actually calls them astoria.

simply put: anyone who actually has lived in new york for any amount of time knows EXACTLY what you're talking about when you say "astoria": that immigrant neighborhood in western queens where all the greeks live.

i lived in different parts of new york city and even queens for a long ass time. and i never heard of astoria except in staten island and oregon.

astoria is one of the most popular neighborhoods in queens, it's literally this borough's own williamsburg. it's also the home of NYC's film industry, with the Kaufman-Astoria Studios, which is where a bunch of shows like the old Cosby show were shot. scenes from the film A Bronx Tale were also shot on location in astoria, as well as a bunch of other films and television shows. it is EASILY one of the most iconic/well-known neighborhoods in queens.

no one I have ever known has any reason to know of an astoria in oregon. that's something only someone who googles "astoria" and has never lived in NYC would say.

simply put, you're not a new yorker.

i'm not a new yorker now but i was born and raised for 16 years in new york city. how the fuck am i not a new yorker? and i know about astoria oregon because of the goonies.

>times Ramsay got it wrong

Gimme a slice of that nice and sweet 'go 'za

because if you think "astoria" might be in staten island or fucking oregon then you're not a new yorker. if mentioning the neighborhood "astoria" confuses you, then you simply don't know anything about the city. and if you barely know anything about this city and its neighborhoods, then you're not a new yorker.

it's like someone being confused when they hear "williamsburg" and having the first thing that pops up in their mind be "williamsburg, virginia". everyone knows what you mean when you say "williamsburg" in new york. they know you're not talking about virginia.

here is a conversation that happened between me and another new yorker in this thread, note the complete lack of confusion:

>tfw ate 2 bros a few days ago
>come to Astoria to try some wood-fired pizza m8
>Which pizza place in Astoria do you recommend?
>Milkflower is probably the best as far as wood-fired pizza goes.

do you see how he instantly knew exactly what the fuck I was talking about? there was no confusion.

i've never heard of williamsburg either. this is shit that literally never came up. how the fuck was i supposed to know what that shit is if no one ever talked about it?

>i've never heard of williamsburg either.

alright mate, your shitposting is too obvious now. this is the last (You) that you get from me.

it's not fucking shit posting, i'm never heard of it. i lived in queens for a few years and i've never heard about those neighborhoods.

>cheap

thicc

im not the other person but you really should leave the apartment more buddy
you would know about these areas if you lived in queens and literally went outside for anything besides grocery, so i'm pretty sure you need to get out more.

EYYY I'M WALKING 'ERE
