What does Sup Forums think of this album?

And Andy Stott in general ?

dammmmm dat camel toe babe

...

I love that one Andy Scott album with the "artsy" b&w photo

yeah it's pretty decent, some songs are just annoying though

...

my current AOTY even though it's nowhere near as good as his 2011/2012 stuff.

You know the albums in the same genre ? Especially the last track

*gooles dub teckno*

his worst

big up emotional dub techno man

His Passed Me By and We Stay Together EPs are classics in the genre.

titles?

His best album, though the single 'Tell Me Anything' is by far his best track

If he had released another dreary, sludgy, primary dub-techno album he'd be called a one trick pony. Too many voices is still familiar yet continues the airier direction he hinted at with the title track on faith in strangers.

I really didn't like it very much. Huge disappointment.

big ups, ty for doing that mu dude

have no idea why people post their shit halfway like that only to leave thread

His fucking album covers make me cringe

Why? They perfectly visualize his albums. Endless grey landscapes and overcast skies. I think he's fond of hauntological principles. I especially like the We Stay Together cover, it perfectly visualizes the tribal and sinister music.

Luxury Problems was clearly his best

I think I'm going to be sick

How fucking pretentious is this guy

It's honestly my least favorite by now. It just sounds extremely claustrophobic and ear fatiguing after a while. I also prefer his music without vocals.

>his covers usually have some relation to the mood of the album
>but they're monochrome

"ugh fucking pretentious shit how dare he"

>sinister
its just doole tekno

it's an album that rockists pretend to like so as not to appear outdated

He could go in a different direction but the issue is that he chose a shit direction. His take on a more UK Bass sound isn't great desu.

It always seems weird when people conflate 'tribal' with 'sinister', like so many of these witch house types were doing a few years ago
Seems a bit racist to me

Like, why are tribal people supposed to be sinister?

/bleep/ is that way you fucking yuropoors
