>leave AOTY 2016 to us
Leave AOTY 2016 to us
you really think that's likely after this piece of garbage came out?
it was made on an ipad and released for free the same year they made Plastic Beach, surely you aren't that stupid to think this is their standard.
I think he's just trying to make fun of the mentally retarded tripfag montie. I've never seen him without the tripcode on before.
...
This, also it ain't terrible. Probably the worst LP in their discog, but not terrible.

"Lols totally Reddit that means they bad"=actual criticism
No, Gorillaz is a really good music project from Damon Albarn, the lead singer of Blur. It's also way better than Blur.
Also OP you mean AOTY 2017, it's been delayed.
>getting baited by a tripfag
>tripfag
>doesn't have a trip
it's not middle school aymore faggots
gorillaz is complete trash
>2017 release
>montie in charge of defaming Gorillaz
where did this meme that Gorillaz are bad come from.
their music
It's because they are
This post did not deserve the trips
gorillaz are better than blur but they're still mediocre and haven't done anything good in a while
they also lose points for putting a Z instead of an S at the end of their name, pure faggotry
Project was named in 1998 and wasn't supposed to go as far as it did, was a bit of a throwaway joke with the Z.
I honestly don't understand what's so good in their music. Can you explain?
>us
It's one guy.
This.
I don't dislike Gorillaz but I fail to see it as particularly great when compared to a lot of current indie beat-tape shit.
Were their first albums amazing for their time, or what?
>Sup Forums praises Avalanches who released a 2005 Gorillaz song in 2016
>Says Gorillaz is shit
Gorillaz are shit but the hypocrisy is astounding.
I give them props on the fact that the only real band member is the vocalist. Granted there are consistent touring members, the instrumentation when producing is all handled by different people he brings in, and it leads to what I'd consider a cool variety in their music. They're really hard to class into a genre because of it. None of their albums sound the same.
I dig Daman's voice, too. He's got and interesting writing style, and this yawning tone to his delivery that I just enjoy.
The virtual band gig was also really unique for its time.
