DnD Alignment Chart Thread
DnD Alignment Chart Thread
love foetus and the thread idea but I have nothing to contribute
Making a death grips one, keep the thread alive, OP
Keep thread alive and I'll do one when I get home.
bumping for good oc
i made a post-rock one, but some people on Sup Forums called me a fag for it so i deleted it from my computer
Redo it, they were assholed.
Here, as promised
doing it btw, give me a few minutes
Care to help me complete by Record Labels alignment chart?
Great, looking forward to it, user.
Nice one, user.
...
slight text placement fix
I made the DG one, thoughts on the Swans one before I add text?
Also, check my 83838
Someone tell Ride I came up with a song title for him
never understood these things
ahh shit I also want to make a band one. Currently searching bands with at least 9 albums that are distinct in sound
The post-rock one was nice, I saved it
Any edits to the Swans hierarchy?
I'm thinking of doing an AnCo one. This is what I'm thinking so far:
>Lawful Good: Merriweather Post Pavillion
>Neutral Good: Strawberry Jam
>Chaotic Good: Sung Tongs
>Lawful Neutral: Feels
>True Neutral: Campfire Songs
>Chaotic Neutral: Here Comes the Indian
>Lawful Evil: Spirit They've Gone...
>Neutral Evil: Danse Manatee
>Chaotic Evil: Hollinndagain
Thoughts?
thanks man.
Well I'm glad we agreed that soundtracks is lawful.
Definitely early swans are all evil, I like your arrangement, nothing to change really imo.
Alright, thanks
I'll add text in a second then
Nice.
thanks!
he said it's not ready yet, he was just asking if people thought the arrangement is fitting.
Switch feels and strawberry jam
Is this going by sound or themes?
I'm still trying to figure out these charts...
I don't really put what I feel is "bad" music in the evil sections, more so depending on the vibe of the album (like if they have particularly dark or pessimistic lyrics) I may label it as evil.
Little of each, sound kinda decides left to right for me and theme decides vertical, but either can influence the other if it's strong enough
Here's completed Swans chart
some bands are not fitted for this format.
that's why it's hard to find a band that I can do this chart to, unless i leave some slates blank
saved
I tried to make it so Good = happy and Evil = upset, Lawful = cohesive and Chaotic = incohesive
Saved
I'm a Foetus fan and this chart annoys me so much because it doesn't make sense
I'll make a Green Day one, hang on
Radiohead
> lawful good: a moon shaped pool
> neutral good: ok, computer
> chaotic good: in rainbows
> lawful neutral: the king of limbs
> True neutral: the bends
> chaotic neutral: Pablo honey
> Lawful evil: hail to the thief
> neutral evil: Kid A
>chaotic evil: amnesiac
any adjustments?
How the fuck is A Moon Shaped Pool happy?
ours are pretty similar, i felt TKOL felt to mechanical and cold to be called "good"
also OK,computer is nostalgic for me and songs like Lucky feel pretty optimistic
...
Saved
And here's my latest creation
I made Uno neutral evil for sucking
Didn't realise I could do not approved Sup Forums artists
That's a nice one, I like it
thank you, I have put "Army of Mushrooms" on Neutral Evil for the same reason you put Uno there (by coincidence).
I like this thread, hope more people will join in.
Same, I know there are more artists with tons of work but I'm not well versed enough to rank it
Here's my half-meme TMBG chart
...
Nice.
This is accurate.
looks good, I'm not familiar with them so i can't really tell if it fits
ahh shit i forgot about bowie
i don't really get the arrangement, explain? in particular why the man who sold the world and outside are evil, actually same goes for station to staion, it's such a comfy album, i dont get an evil vibe from it, is it because of the cocaine?
TKOL mechanical and cold? holy shit man it's literally nature incarnate
OK Computer is in no way happy, the centerpiece of the album is fucking fitter happier.
Eh not really happy I guess but more content. The band is old and are not angsty or angry about anything anymore. I mean the first two albums are all about angst (Creep, Bullet Proof.. I wish I was), OK Computer, Kid A, Amnesiac, and HTTT are obviously upset about something. AMSP isn't happy, radiohead are never really happy, but it's not angry. Not upset. Just content
this is really fucking good. Evil is noisy, Good is poppy. Lawful is more structured, Chaotic is less
...
pretty good
just whipped this up
r8
...
what are the top two left albums and the bottom two right albums?
cheers
Lawful Good - Crippled Black Phoenix - I, Vigilante
Neutral Good - Yndi Halda - Enjoy Eternal Bliss
Neutral Evil - World's End Girlfriend - The Lie Lay Land
Chaotic Evil - Oiseaux-Tempête - Ütopiya?
was a bit unsure about Ki and Terria but here
Bump.
It's not the side effects of the cocaine.
Who's the guy in the middle?
ZTT for lawful evil
interview meme man
switch Outside and StS, other than that pretty good
Where are you guys making these? I wanna make a king crimson one
paint
you could probably use neverendingchartrendering.org to make it easier also, but king crimson doesnt let any website use their album covers lmao because robert fripp is a fucking jew
fripp is a nice old man that just doesn't understand computers
Lawful Good: Neutral Good: Chaotic Good:
Islands ITWOP LTIA
Lawful Neutral: True Neutral: Chaotic Neutral:
Red ToaPP SaBB
Lawful Evil: Neutral Evil: Chaotic Evil
Dicipline ITCotCK Lizard
this is pretty accurate
Good stuff
I had a feeling the formatting would get fucked up
...
The way I chose where to place them was different. I just went with my gut.
I say that about tkol because of all the repetitive looping. Reminded me of a less funky remain in light. Not counting give up the ghost, which sounds very natural to me
Yeah the repetitive looping is exactly the point.. it's meant to be hypnotic and trancelike. You know how people who've walked in forests on shrooms or acid often say they "become one with nature" and stuff like that? I've had similar experiences. When I first heard TKOL it instantly reminded me of how that felt, letting your mind float into the trees.
The rhythms are incredibly organic, that's the real genius of TKOL imo. It's sampled and looped, yes, but it's the band sampling themselves playing.
In any case, it absolutely is a warm, content album. In no way is it mechanical and cold - you need to look beyond just the fact that it's built out of samples and loops.
