What was this album about?

While I think that nobody could ever replace Bon Scott, I do think that Brian Johnson does a darn good job. This album was released when everybody thought that AC/DC would be no more. Then came Back in Black, and well the rest is history.

I think that this is still Brian's finest moment.

eating ovaries with your eyes or some shit i havent heard this album in forever

As overplayed and loved by rednecks as this is, this is probably the last great AC/DC album

I don't get this joke. please explain.

I never really "got" AC/DC, but to be really honest, there isn't much to get most of the time. There's solid guitar work, the same pounding bass and drum beat, raspy vocals, and lyrics about as deep as a kiddie pool. Really, what more is there to them?

Well, that's where this album, Back in Black, comes in. Yeah, they use their same songwriting formula, but it almost seems natural at this point. The riffs just keep going, and the album rarely lets up its rocking attitude. It's even more remarkable considering they had just gotten a new lead singer and were recovering from the death of their previous singer.

Recommended to those who really enjoy hard rock or want to get into AC/DC.
