Really liked the picking parts, very smooth playing, the melodies played both into predictable and unexpected conventions, which was good. But at the strumming part, the chord progression becomes a bit to 'same-y' and safe compared to the plucking
Continued: but the strumming part created a memorable tune none the less.
Thanks for the feedback, I've been trying different patterns/rythyms to spice up the progression, but it always seems to veer off from the tone of the whole piece.
I'm honestly surprised more aren't willing to post, I've always wanted to hear mu play their own stuff.
picking was pretty great, i did like the strumming parts too though

noodling into a loop pedal for 8 minutes

New track
Here's something that I recorded the other day
Nice stuff, I really like the "atmospheric" stuff that you can do with a loop pedal. Sounds great
Here's a song I'm writing. Still got to fix a lot of stuff up but its something.
It's always kind of hard to judge just a guitar part like that, but from what I can tell I think it'd be nice when paired with some other instrumentation/vocals.
Really liked this, I'm a sucker for thick acoustic guitar layering like that and I think it came out really nice.
You accidentally posted the link to my thing. Thank you though, I've been meaning to do something like this for a while
gimme a bit and I'll post some shit

Second song i've written- Junkie Love
you sound obnoxiously british.
Here's a song that I just started recently. I've only done about 30 seconds, and there aren't vocals yet, but I think it's pretty good.
You do sound very English, but it's somewhat endearing

c
that's because i am british
That's not an excuse.
That's cool. The accent reminds me of spacemen 3
Now you know how it feels for non Americans to listen to anco
Remember when vocaroo threads actually used to be good places for feedback?
yeah, me neither.
Song I wrote. Its supposed to sound like Marina and the Diamonds but I only have acoustic instruments.

Why? Is it my composition or my playing?
its your lack of feedback
Today I got home and wrote and recorded this all by myself on my dumb lil' laptop. LOVE ME FOR IT
sounds like a pirate war song

My masterpiece from the Sup Forums creates an album thread from last week. I think it's fucking awesome.

this sounds great!!! acoustic instruments make me feel really melancholic, great song! the only think I don't like as much is the voice
I think it's a really good start, but when expanding upon it I would say take extra care to make sure it stays interesting. I love spacey chords like those but they can often sound kind of same-y so watch out for that.
For mine: vocaroo.com
This is something I did the other day just messing around. It was a sort of half serious kind of thing but the more I listen to it the more I think there might be something there. Or it might suck shit, I dunno.
nice voice, dude
That's was pretty cool. I love the guitar work
Also, sounding samey was the main criticism I got on my ep, so thanks for reminding me to steer clear of that again
Here's one of mine. Its a rough draft and i'm shit with lyrics but I really love how it sounds.
Something I wrote today...Singing is quiet because 2am but I think it's turning out nicely
where are you from?
Utah
This is only loosely related to the thread theme because I had to upload the clip to vocaroo but I heard this song while out shopping today and I figure only Sup Forums would know. It sounded like a female singer, heavy bassline, kinda 70's vibe to it. Couldn't hear what the fucking lyrics were but this is kinda what it sounded like? Mind you, I'm neither a singer nor female so grain of salt.
very very nice, kinda baroque pop-ish which i'm a sucker for
