Any band.
Weezer
Prince was still releasing an album a year up until his death but nobody listened to them.
He died though.
Just like a zombie
Pixies
this is good
>two good albums
>sudden transition to shit
>eight good seasons
>sudden transition to shit
Death Magnetic
You know remember the Simpsons opening where they sang Ke$ha's Tik Tok
This would be true 3 years ago, but their last two albums are pretty solid.
That's more like Beavis and Butthead.
i saw somebody somewhere say that recent simpsons has been better than usual
They were lying. It has one or two episodes every season (eg last season's halloween episode, Barthood) but that doesn't excuse the atrocious mess that is 90% of the episodes.
The Smashing Pumpkins
U2
foo fighters
No, I actually... don't remember that, thankfully.
u see this
>band that was once good but now sucks
>band that has stuck around way past their prime
way too many bands fit this description
KISS
>last season's halloween episode
stop it
the plot is shit, it's not funny and "lmao geek references xd" a good Simpsons episode do not make.
I don't think we're talking about the same Halloween episode
Not the Treehouse of Horror, the one-off Halloween special they did
yes we are
>lisa gets scaret again and homer does somethin baffingly dumb again lets combine both and then add a bunch of references to got and doctor who at the end
>fuckin brilliant
literally so many people parroted that the episode was good that I watched zombie Simpsons for the first time since season 11 and unsurprisingly it was hot garbage
...
zombie simpsons is season 2 - 7?
season 8 isnt bad at all but it's pretty zombie
nice brainwash there bro ;-)
1-2 is early, weird Simpsons
9 onwards is zombie
8 has its moments
9 is fine
after Mike Scully left, it was officially Zombie
>8 has its moments
it has it's moments because it's one of the very best seasons
Oakley & Weinstein were GOAT, they knew how to formulate a full season and make it funny and emotion
Mirkin more or less the same
9 has Principal and the Pauper so it automatically is shit.
This.
i hope you mean seasons 3-10 and not 1-8
I would argue that the first 8 seasons were great and 9-12 were good with various ups and downs.
yeah, yeah
and it also has Lisa The Simpson, arguably the last great, human Simpsons episode
and Trash of the Titans
and Girly Edition
and Last Temptation of Krust
and Lisa the Skeptic
and we're gonna leave it there before I get depressed.
Season 8 and 9 are shitty over the top garbage
It's just as bad as season 11, 10, 13, whatever
what was wrong with season 10? its fine and has some good episodes on it
8 has good moments but most episodes are bad or held back by their subplots.
You Only Move Twice has the worst subplot ever.
>and Last Temptation of Krust
fuck you that's a quality episode
stop this meme
EHH, wrong.
Who cares? That's one of the GOAT episodes.
like i watched a few episodes in the aughties and i thought they were alright, and everyone said those seasons were garbage, so I thought the earlier seasons must be god-tier right? Nope, they weren't really anything worth going back for
>Jay Leno
>quality episode
out
That's what I'm saying, even Season 8's GOAT episode has parts you wish you could just do without.
The only good thing about that episode is the george carlin parody and the hank williams jr song desu
What's the music equivalent to this sketch
Almost every episode in series 2-8 has one or two hilarious moments, which aint bad for a pg family cartoon
Tangerine dream
Twenty One Pilots
the animation is so cold
Any artist that released their first album more than a decade ago
just like trump's heart
this, this, THIS
such a fucking tired and lazy meme
true
8 and 9 had their moments but yea, you could tell it was declining by then. 2 - 7 is god-tier simpsons imo. And season 9 has "The Cartridge Family" which is one of my favorite episodes.
Guided By Voices/Bob Pollard
Red Hot Chili Peppers
"You Only Move Twice" alone elevates 8 to god-tier
Mike Love's 'Beach Boys' albums
Green Day
