The answers in this thread are more like 'grandpa rock' than mom/dad. The oldest people on this board were born in ~1996 or so, so actual mom/dad rock is just popular music from the mid 90's. Mom rock is stuff like Bjork or Nine Inch Nails or Tribe Called Quest and dad rock is like Raidohead and Wu Tang Clan.
