American'ts on suicide watch

American'ts on suicide watch.

I think it was an icelandic professor who did a long study about where the american was the most achievable and found that the nordic countries were the place to be.

It's kind of ironic, considering that so many people left both Sweden and Norway in the late 19th century in search of it.

Norway = Oilniggers

>more possible

i was on suicide watch last week thx for noticing

But Canada is the country with most personal freedom in the world.

Why isn't it us? I say this Norwegian man is biased.

I'd still rather move to the US than norway tbqh

Who gives a fuck the vast nature here, better weather and women of every race are here. Its pretty based. Also we have way more culture.

Personal freedom isn't the American Dream you retarded leaf
The American Dream is home ownership and self employment

Fuck Norway desu.

>berg

oil vey

-berg names have existed since before jews came to norway tho. Unless you're implying our oldest city Tonsberg, founded before 870, was founded by jews then I don't get your point.

>Norwegians not getting a joke

Not surprised desu

all germanic names are jew names :^)

>"says prime minister Jens Stoltenberg."
Personal freedom as long as you don't offend anyone who isn't white, straight, or male.

I don't want moose attacking me for being non PC

when you get free shit due to oil it's pretty easy
the only country that can actually have free healthcare is norway since oil revenues are greater than government expenditure

Free education should be a basic first world country requirement desu

HOL UP! Imma comin to Norway soon!

We Norway naw, bitches!

Seriously though, how is the job market for engineers?

This reminds me, when I hear foreigners talking about "the american dream" to what specifically are you referring?
Because the definition that I am familiar with "That the potential for success is made available to everybody regardless of social class, or circumstances of birth being determined only by ability and achievement" is still very much in effect here regardless of what some may say but does not seem to be possible as much in many other parts of the world.

As Jens Stoltenberg says to Obama
>go be a nigger over there

except this doesn't mean it can't be better elsewhere either

>But Canada is the country with most personal freedom in the world.
>Canada
>freedom of speech and expression are heavily restricted by "hate speech" laws and you can actually be jailed for printing something that goes against the mainstream if enough people complain.
>Access to arms and weapons is restricted greatly for the common man because the government wants a monopoly on force.
>A government that is openly proud of supporting discrimination in employment and education in the form of affirmative action practices.
>Absurdly high tax rates justified via the funding of an inefficient and unprofessional national healthcare service.
>Restrict and regulate industries and businesses that most of them cannot operate properly.
>Force ridiculous mandates on all businesses and services to be multilingual in all signage because you are afraid of part of your country seceding.
>But you can let a dog fuck you if you're a woman so canada is a bastion of personal freedom

>The American Dream is home ownership and self employment
No it isn't, try googling next time you open your tea intake.
>In the definition of the American Dream by James Truslow Adams in 1931, "life should be better and richer and fuller for everyone, with opportunity for each according to ability or achievement" regardless of social class or circumstances of birth.

But there really isn't anywhere better at offering that dream that I am aware of.
While the united states does have it's retarded abridgements of freedom they are significantly less restrictive than even the next most libertarian country.
Most other nations seem to have subservience to authority hardwired into them so badly that they don't even want all of their rights.

The "American Dream" has never been real. We have one of the most rigid class structures in history - third only to Britain and South Africa. All we've gotten is false guilt for not becoming rich, as if it really was that easy.

A nation of temporarily embarrassed millionaires. ---someone

Burg/berg/bury just means "fortified town" in most old germanic languages

Ah, you seem to know us well. We have such an unprofessional health system, people are leaving in droves to the USA's superior methods. Our "hate speech laws" are universally loved and un-protested.

Tell me our healthcare sucks when my own father who is self employed, makes enough to support and family comfortably and with health insurance is almost force to pay $15000 USD out of pocket because they moved him to another hospital (out of network bullshit) without his consent. He has decent insurance, but due to a health mishap earlier in life his premiums are extremely high.

He had to argue that shit in court and narrowly won. This is not uncommon. People who work full time and work HARD can get bankrupted very easily.

God, fuck you.

Yes, the American Dream.
>Paying huge taxes
>Depending on the government for everything
>Subsidizing refugees in your communities

I'm pretty sure fucking over everyone around you for your own profit is still easier in the US.

There is no definite statement that defines the American Dream.

But to me it seems to be the home/land ownerships, prosperity, job security/self employment, small government/independence, and that everyone that works hard enough can be well off.

Norway and their highly socialist system is not the american dream. You don't get shit for free in that idea.

>job security
>half the states allow you to be fired at any point for literally no reason

>prosperity
>US have the highest public debt in the world and owe over one trillion dollars just in car loans

Shoud I move to Norway instead of the US then?

By job security, I meant more like job opportunities. There will always be a job that anyone can do.

It's part of the liberties of employers to fire someone that they don't think fits into their company.

Yes, we are debt ridden, but the american dream is individualistic. The government may be in debt but that doesn't mean that you the individual has to be. Individuality, small government. This are all part of the American Dream.

I bet it's way easier. Just apply for asylum due to corruption or some shit like that.

Say the gangs in the favelas are targeting you and get a free pass to fuck NOrwegian qts.

Shave your beard, you don't want to be confused with a refugee(although technically you are.)

what's the chance of an electronic technician living there?

I mean, do you even repair your stuff?

The American Dream is a spook.

I have Italian and Portuguese passports , I can go whenever I want to.

>half the states allow you to be fired at any point for literally no reason
What's the problem with that? it wouldn't be in an employers best interest to fire a productive employee just because he felt like it, that almost never happens. The deadweight can be kicked to the curb, though, not like some places where it's impossible to fire bad employees.

America is a spook

/lit/posters pls go

I think you mean /his/

Damn, now the Norwegian Barneveret wants to take American children?

I know Norwegian government has a lot of oildollars and invests it on the population instead of using it for their own profit like every other place with oil monies

But isn't Norway importing a lot of people from places with very different cultural values than their own like Sweden does though?

Do they integrate into with the native Norwegian population well or its the country going to become another Londonistan in 50 years?

Always thought Canada would of been cool to live in till you guys elected Justin Trudeau. But i mean we are either going to have a Trump presidency or Clinton presidency soon so i guess i cant really give you to much shit.

financial aid exists
also getting jerked around and made to pay a costly bill beats the shit out of having to wait endlessly to get treatment and possibly being denied treatment altogether because you have been judged as high risk.

Their child protective services steal children from immigrants and have them raised by natives.

Not even joking.
