Your reaction when you first listened to Death Grips
>be me >friend tells me that he found out about this new band >shows me "You might think he loves you for your money.." >I literally just laugh at the facial expressions this guy made >beat comes in >mfw ( youtube.com/watch?v=JWoVVC-ojw4 )
I could see how teenage angst ridden 13 year olds would like it though, play it loud, piss off their parents.
Parker Richardson
"Turn that shit off man"
Camden Hill
>beware
loved the hook
kill yourself, that goes for literally any loud music
Mason Scott
It was right after money store came out, right before I started browsing Sup Forums, I didn't know what the fuck ride was saying, i couldn't follow along, and I thought he was Scottish and that they were just based in sac
Jackson Mitchell
Teenagers can only scratch up the surface, like "Oh man, this shit is so loud and if I say that I like it then I will appeal to my friends" Only if you grow up you can understand the deeper meaning behind some of Death Grips' songs.
Samuel King
Lol
Evan King
I am talking about songs like "Beware", "On GP", not "Hothead"
Jackson Ortiz
>deeper meaning >death grips
David Davis
Search the deeper meaning behind some of their songs like On GP or Beware, you'll be surprised at what you'll find.
Jason Martin

Jackson Flores
At first I found them offense and bad but then I listened to a bit more songs and I stated to like them
Jacob Mitchell
>Sup Forums freaking out about some album called exmilitary >download it, add to library, put off listening to it for a while >eventually give it a listen, hooked from the first song
Too bad I'm a pleb and think their first 2 albums were their peak.
>one day I decided to listen to Sup Forumscore bands, "no smoke without fire" I thought >DG was the first band I searched for, I had no idea about the band except for the fact they have a penis album cover >I thought it's some kind of garagepunk indie shit >checked "No Love" >heavy kick drums, a black guy screaming like he's having a bad trip >"it's heavy as shit, much better than what I expected" >at this point I thought it's some kind of experimental rock >the hook kicks in at 0:26 >realised it's hiphop >went absolutely ape shit
Jaxson Gomez
Are people on image boards call everything they don't like a meme? Grow up nigger
Parker Torres
>well I've heard worse memes before >damn, thats a nice dick
What I mainly remember is that I got into them around the time Birds had dropped, it was the latest upload on their youtube. I didn't really know anything about the band and I didn't browse Sup Forums at the time.
I kept going back to Birds every day for weeks, I wasn't sure what to make of it, made me both sick and amazed at the same time.

I got a few tracks of TMS from Bittorent (they had promos where they released some artists' stuff for free) when I was 15. Enjoyed it immediately and I've been a fan of DG ever since.
>didn't start browsing Sup Forums until the following year >mfw i found out they were a meme
Jordan Baker
>Tried listening to TMS I liked Get Got but was confused until about Hustle Bones, where I started to get a feel for it
