Do you have a socialist party in your country?

Do you have a socialist party in your country?

It's the second largest party here.

I wish

It is one of the three largest and currently in government sadly :^(

yes, it's in power right now and the president has a literal 4% of positive opinions

makes ya think

We call them democrats.

PS hasn't been socialist since the 80s mon ami

V isn't in our current government. It's only S and MP.

That being said, all of our political parties qualify as being socialist parties.

S is socialist, du vet SOCIALdemokraterna. VPK are communist even if they just call them selves V

They are the """ex"""-commies, they promise heigh pensions and heigh minimum wage. They also promise to suck Putins cock.
They are in decline.

V might be retards but they're not communists.

Ja, two, they are in power now.

Is there any Faroese pro-independence party?

neither was labour

most are independence. But there is only one, maybe two, parties that would declare indpendence right away if they had a majority. The others want to take it slowly, e.g. getting a proper economy before.

PSL and SAlt are the only legitimate socialist parties. They're meme tier though.

They got impeached

The Democrats are farther right than most of Europe's right parties

The various left parties are quite socialist, although our meme socialists (the ones that said they're gonna "end capitalism" in the flyers) only have about 7% in the parliament.

Members include this guy, youngest parliamentarian an meme che guevara wanabe guy.

we have 2
SPD and The Left
both are shit

Our alternative party of government is a broad centre-left social democratic party organised around the labour movement.
But even the Left of the ALP could never be as explicitly collectivist as your boy Jezza. Ironically one reason is that our industrial unions are in a relatively comfy position and so being militant wouldn't get them anywhere.

Does Australia have a big labor movement these days? We sure as hell don't.

Every single party we have is socialist to some degree.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

American education strikes again

>Western Socialist Major Party

No, there are no socialist parties in Silesia. Unless you want Polish socialist parties, there are plenty.

Bigger than yours, about 15%, and in another irony membership is always voluntary (pls to ignore the construction industry) which leads to a uniform presence on work sites instead of having "Union" and "non-Union" workplaces. Most people work under an Enterprise Bargaining Agreement that was negotiated by the union and the employer or employer group and then voted on by all employees.

Aren't poles very hostile to anything that seems remotely socialist?

>People who have actually lived under socialism really fucking hate it

Why is it so hard for North American leftists to understand this?

Socialist parties, communist parties ... that no longer exists in Europe or Western world.

The dichotomy capitalism VS communism is dead, welcome to the dichotomy national identity VS multiculturalism.

the poles elected the former communist nomenklatura as their leadership for the second government in the 90s lads

About over 25 of the 33 or so political parties we have are socialist or communist.

Yes, it's the 3rd largest party here.

1. FN (dumb nationalists, white trash)
2. Republicans (right wing)
3. PSF (Socialists)

>b-but China is more capitalist than European socialists with welfares, free education and medicine

t. Abdi Salam

>the best argument the opposition can come up with is "you're dumb lol"
really made me think

>FN
>white trash

Nah. Mix of French working-class and bourgeois.

...

You guys are responding to some shitskin who fears what FN will do for real French people.

Currently on power and ruining the country

Yes, the NDP. They got lucky in 2011 because Quebec was getting all uppity again but we're finally back to having them in their proper third place.

Considering the masses throw a bitchfit any time the government tries to cut public spending and services it's no wonder most are.

"Social Democrats" are heading a coalition government here. Same in Czech Republic.

Poland doesn't have a left-wing party in national parliament and Hungarian left is divided and meme tier (second biggest party is fascist Jobbik).

Remember anons,
If the party does not advocate for workers ownership of the means of production,it is not socialist.
