In the beginning

flood

Listen to Flood, Feedbacker, and Pink.

depends on what you like. they have a shit ton of different styles

Pink -> Heavy Rocks -> Akuma No Uta ->

Tbh

Pink
Heavy rocks (2002 release is better but 2011 is good also)
Akuma no Uta (their best, wild merzbow appears)
Altar (collab with Sunn O))))

pick one

God, Shonen Knife looks different.

For real, absolutego is so underrated

Flood: slow ambient stuff
Pink: fast rock stuff
Noise/New Album: pop influences

why is their hair like that

if you want something more straight forward, go with pink or akuma no uta. like others have said already: they do a really wide variety of stuff.

also feedbacker > flood

Nobody should be listening to Boris in 2016

pleb

>non-white
In the cuck shed you degenerate

I am half-asian.

Listen to this and be sad that the audio cuts out for a few seconds towards the end. youtube.com/watch?v=H4IK3TQLnbU

pink and akuma no uta = noise rock
heavy rocks is too but quite a lot cleaner
flood is an atmospheric drone piece on the lighter side
feedbacker is the doom metal equivalent to flood

Merzbow appears on Heavy Rocks 2002, not Akuma no Uta.

Chicago, let's go.

Literally on tour now for the tenth anniversary of Pink

PS they were amazing

Start with buying tickets to the pink tour.

I never really understood this. Why do you need a starting point for a band? Can't you just delve into them yourself and find out what you like the most? Why do you need to be spoon fed what should be listened to.

akuma no uta or pink
heavky rocks if you want to have fun
feedbacker if you're feeling patient
always skip Flood I

>Nobody mentioning Amplifier Worship
FUCKING PLEBS

Wata is my waifu!!

>tfw Vomitself live

Because all of their albums are different, so he is looking for the most accessible starting point. That eay he doesn't just dismiss them because he decided to start at amplifier worship. (Great album btw though)

I'm actually kind of amazed how much I've burned out on them
They tour like mad and one of my friends inevitably invites me to see them, but in reality I haven't put on a Boris record in years

>there are people on Sup Forums who actually belive this

Vein is their most underrated album

>Jap """""" music """"""
Just don't bother

>doesn't listen to discographies chronologically

You're embarrassing yourself, please stop.

Hey.

I just saw them (and Earth) live last night. Fantastic show.

Incredibly so.

I, too was at that show. Fucking incredible. Afterburner and Just Abandoned My-Self were spectacular

Who else /930clublastnight/ here?

Screamadelica

this desu senpai, every album is worth listening to anyway

>living in a shitty europoor country and will never see this dream combination

just kill me

>japvins
